As a local to this area and 6 different Mexican places to choose from this place will go to the bottom of the list. The food is marginally over priced. The burrito was 25$, 3 tacos was 20$ and seafood nachos with a minimal amount of seafood and 6 chips was 20$ as well. The food didn’t provide 65$ worth of taste to my pallet. I am a big fan of the original Juanito’s in red bank. I understand that this place is trying something different with the “grill” aspect. I feel as though they have missed the mark. What came out was a tortilla filled with cold Cotija cheese, which doesn’t melt, so it was just crumbled cheese inside a tortilla. On top of that, we were charged $2 for a second set of chips and never got a refill of salsa or green sauce, even though we ordered guacamole.
