Strollo's Lighthouse (Red Bank) — Restaurant in Red Bank

How did we find this place? Well on our way to Bon Jovi's restaurant, which was closed when we got there late, we saw a long line here, so of course absolutely had to stop here and see why they had so many people here! Now don't worry, but that aforementioned long line went down quickly due to the amount of people had serving. We tried several flavors of their ice cream and soft serve and found their pistachio to be pretty good. Now mind you that's pretty big praise from somebody who loves chocolate as much as I do! Always a joy going to the Lighthouse. I have been coming since I was a baby at the original in Long Branch. My grandparents took my parents, my parents would take me, & now I take my own little girl. It's a family tradition that always makes me feel right at home whenever I'm in town. While they offer such a fun variety of treats, nothing beats the velvety smooth Italian ice. I bought a small ice cream cone with sprinkles for $5.50 at Red Bank light house. Wow that got expensive. No big deal, everything has gotten expensive. A week later I go with my wife I get the same small ice cream cone and she gets a kid cup with ice cream and sprinkles. The girl said $14. I think this place is just charging whatever they want.
