Via Sposito — Restaurant in Red Bank

I came here with my family yesterday. As a person who can’t consume gluten or dairy, I have a very hard time at restaurants. I’ve gotten sick from many places who claim they can make food gluten free, so I was very reluctant to eat here with my family yesterday. THIS PLACE IS AMAZING!!!!!!!!! I ate DELICIOUS gluten and dairy free pizza and side dishes. I have never EVER had a gluten free pizza that tasted like the real thing and this pizza blew me away. I told the waiter I wanted to cry. It was SO GOOD! When I couldn’t eat the delicious smelling dinner rolls and olive oil, I was feeling down, but the server offered to make a gluten free focaccia bread with olive oil & rosemary. I didn’t see it on the menu, but wow this was delicious! I felt safe and listened to. I waited a day before posting this review to see if I had a delayed reaction from the food. I feel great! 5-Star, casual, family run, old world Italian restaurant located right on Broad Street in Red Bank. We had a party of 6 and were seated promptly outside for our reservation. Food was amazing and service was impeccable. Menu and restaurant are on the smaller side, but definitely worth the visit. Dolores, our server was fantastic. She made numerous suggestions and even spoke to the chef to see if she was willing to accommodate special orders not listed on the menu. No problem there!! FYI, Via Sposito is BYOB. I went for the first time last night and it will be my last, the service was awful. We sat down the waitress came by and brought us three wine glasses for four people. After asking her three times for a wine glass and 25 minutes later she finally sent the busgirl over with the wine glass and no apology for her forgetfulness.
