We had a wonderful evening here last night. Their eclectic menu, romantic atmosphere, and attentive & helpful staff brought this lovely BYOB restaurant to the top of our favorites list. First and foremost, the food was absolutely incredible. I had the Pear Roquefort Salad for my appetizer. The flavors melded together perfectly, with a generous but well balanced amount of dressing and toppings. My partner had the Empanadas for his appetizer and the NY Strip for his entree, which were both big hits as well. The star of the show was definitely the Ravioli. I'm usually quite picky about red sauce, and this was hands down the best sauce I've ever had at a restaurant. It was so full of flavor; plenty of onions, garlic, and spices that paired perfectly with the fresh ravioli and its creamy, delicious filling. This dish blew it out of the water. I can't rave about it enough. Our server Amanda was great. She was welcoming, friendly, and professional. I really appreciated how she checked on us frequently enough to ensure we had everything we needed, but not so much as to be overbearing. Even the young busser for our table was on top of his game. He stopped by quite a few times to check and see if we needed our plates cleared, which shows good effort and attentiveness. Overall, we had a great experience with the staff here as well. I do want to note that they do not include complimentary bread at the beginning of the meal as other restaurants often do. However, I actually thought this was for the better because otherwise we would have been too full to enjoy as much of the amazing food. I can say with confidence that this was one of, if not the most, enjoyable restaurant experiences we've ever had. We cannot wait to be back.

I've always passed by here, but it took me a long time to try it because I wasn’t sure how good it would be. I decided to try in last Sunday because I heard Anthony Ferrando is now the chef here. He use to be the owner of the restaurant Dish which I always enjoyed. We started with the coconut curry lobster bisque and the sweet potato and shrimp dumplings. We were disappointed with the coconut curry lobster bisque because there was no coconut or curry taste. It was just a regular lobster bisque soup. The sweet potato and shrimp dumplings were good! In my opinion they would be even better without the shrimp. Only because I don’t think shrimp and sweet potato mix well together. For dinners we had the burger and the lobster pappardelle. Both of our dinners were really good! The burger was nice and juicy, and the fries were perfectly seasoned. The lobster pappardelle came in a delicious sauce which was very much enjoyed. For dessert I had the chocolate bread pudding which was AMAZING! Chef Anthony always made the best desserts! I wish they would at least add 4 of his desserts to the menu as desserts choices were limited to only 2. He makes delicious layer cakes hopefully Bistro can add them to the menu. I love Bistro’s menu as there are so many options depending what you are in the mood for. I recommend dining at The Bistro At Red Bank!

Randomly stopped by with some family for a quick lunch around 3PM. We were a group of 5 and for apps we started off with the Fig & Goat Cheese Pizza, Spicy Tuna Crispy Rice and Samurai Fries. For the price, the apps were very small. The crispy rice was very very good wish there was more then 3. The fries were okay just French Fries with spicy mayo on top. Only disappointment was the pizza, there were too many figs and it almost tasted burnt/crunchy. If they used fig spread with goat cheese instead, I think it would have tasted much better. For our main course we tried the Chicken Milanese, Chicken Penne Vodka, Crispy Chicken Sandwich and the Garlic Shrimp Paccheri. All the entrees were amazing. The Chicken Milanese was fried super thin and the salad on top was dressed well. The chicken sandwich was fantastic, the chicken was thinly fried and topped with fresh mozzarella and an herb aioli. I’m normally scared to order chicken sandwiches because sometimes people use really thick cut pieces which grosses me out. Another hit was the garlic shrimp Paccheri pasta, which had roasted garlic sauce and shiitake mushrooms. One word BOMB. Our server Hailey was very attentive and polite, she made sure we always had what we needed. They also are BYOB which is a big plus. If we ever visit Red Bank again, we will definitely be back.

We had such an amazing experience from the time we made reservations right up to the end of a fabulous meal! The hostess who made the reservation for us was extremely friendly and very professional. When we arrived we were greeted and seated very quickly. The restaurant was packed there was not an empty seat in the house! Our server came over immediately and gave us water, wine glasses and opened our wine. She gave us the specials for the evening. When we asked her to repeat them she did so with a smile. We gave her the appetizer order and asked for a bit of time to decide on dinner. There were too many fantastic choices we couldn’t decide! The server was so nice, she gave us just the right amount of time to decide while bringing another bottle of water. The appetizers we ordered came out so fast. They were amazing. We had the Samurai fries, the Asian Caesar salad and the soppressatta pizza. The fries were topped with a sauce that had a spicy zing to them. They were delicious. The salad had spicy cashews and shredded wontons in it and the flavor was not short of incredible! The pizza was hot fresh and came with a ton of meat on it. So delicious! The meal was just as incredible. We had the rigatoni bolognese. It had a meat sauce with crumbled sausage in it with a slight flavor of spicy. There was so much in the dish it was hard to eat it all! We had the Chicken and Shrimp Lo Mein. The flavor was perfect! The shrimp was really big not like those tiny ones usually put in dishes. Every bite was Heaven! The other dish we had was the Chicken Milanese. It was so incredible. The chicken was tender with a crispy panko coating. It was topped with cheese, spring mix and a balsamic glaze. The flavors meshed together perfectly! Since we were celebrating a birthday we had dessert. They completely complimented the meal. We had the chocolate bread pudding, chocolate brownie and the napoleon. The server even put a candle on the napoleon! I can’t say enough about how great the food was and also the service. It was a packed house and we waited for nothing! The server and those who brought out the food were so friendly, quick and helpful for anything we needed. The hostesses were so sweet and efficient. The manager was amazing and was there at every turn to ensure we were getting exceptional service. That’s what we got. Exceptional dishes with exceptional service too. Nothing short of a perfect evening! We absolutely will be going back to enjoy many meals there! We will also recommend the restaurant to all of our family, friends and anyone who asks for a great place to eat...

I recently hosted my baby shower at Bistro in Red Bank, and I cannot recommend this restaurant highly enough for a private event. From start to finish, everything was absolutely perfect.

The food was truly amazing—every single guest kept raving about it all day, and days later they were still talking about how delicious it was. I even got phone calls just to tell me how good the food was afterwards. We chose family-style dining, and the portions were generous, constantly replenished, and beautifully prepared. The star of the day was definitely their Crackling Calamari Salad—people were obsessed.

The service was equally outstanding. The entire staff was attentive, warm, and went above and beyond to make sure every guest felt cared for. They didn’t just serve food—they anticipated needs, made sure nothing ever ran out, and even helped us carry gifts to the car at the end of the evening. The clean-up was seamless, and I never once had to worry about a thing.

A special shoutout to the manager, Travis, who was phenomenal. Leading up to the event, he worked with me personally to book the space, create the perfect menu, and set everything up exactly how I envisioned it. On the day of, he made sure every detail was handled with care, and it was clear he genuinely cared about me, my family, my guests, and the celebration as a whole.

The pricing was also very fair, especially considering the amount and quality of food and service provided. Bistro exceeded all expectations.

If you’re looking for a place to host a special occasion, Bistro in Red Bank should be at the very top of your list. They made it a perfect event, and I’ll forever be grateful for...
