Food was good. We ordered at the drive thru and it took an abnormal amount of time to get our food. It wasn’t busy at all. We ordered and there were no cars in front of us. Maybe there are a ton of dashers or something. We slowly pulled away and double checked our order realizing we didn’t have one of our sandwiches. It was just a regular chicken sandwich. I drove back and walked up to the window. She said it would be ready soon. I looked at my receipt and it took 20 minutes. Also while I was there another woman was waiting for her milkshake that they forgot. While I waited I watched at least 5 people pick up food. I don’t understand the protocol for getting an order complete, I watched people get their orders who ordered after I had told them we were missing a sandwich… I’m not sure why the cashier is not allowed to simply go grab me my missing sandwich but they must have an extensive protocol for that because it also took an unusually long time for the woman to get her milkshake as well. The cashier was super kind, but it would have been great to have been able to get our order completed a lot faster. I finally heard myself begging them - “I will happily take any one of those sandwiches I see up there that are just sitting...

Food is fine, employees are doing a good job for having just opened. My salad was not as substantial as they normally are, but I think that will improve after they have been operating for a while.
FYI Outdoor dining only. Walk up windows to order, and it’s really hard for the employees to hear you through the window. Paying through the window is cumbersome. And then you have to eat at tables next to the drive through while hearing all the freeway traffic and smelling the car exhaust. This is not family friendly with no indoor lobby. They clearly intend for this to primarily be a drive through only location and it won’t be the family friendly stop on a road trip that most people with little kids would expect. I come up from Sacramento to visit my frequently and was excited to see this open on their side of town, but I’m so disappointed in this design choice. I would think we would have all learned from the mistakes Costco made years ago when they had a period of building outside only food courts. Just wait for one small kid to get away and run into the parking lot. I hope that never happens, but I won’t be surprised...
Read moreI have been to many chick-fila-A all over north California and bay area. This one seems to have the best operation system with the drive through being the main priority. Sounds great, but the service for dine in or pick up is horrible. Idk why, but my fries during drive through was stale within 5 minutes. Next day, I went for a pick up order and order at the their front. It took 20 minutes for 1 sandwich. The real kicker is that I witness 10-13 cars order then leave with their order. So where was mine? I asked and some worker just now was working on it... so I guess drive through is main priority. I think it's weird that the girl I ordered from wasn't even the same name on my receipt under cash register. Different names. All the girls were talking and taking their sweet time with dine and to go orders. I saw an older couple wait 30 minutes for their pick up order and when I finally got mines they still were waiting. The cashier said it would be a few more minutes... then I watch as 3 more cars do their order and get it in 10 minutes. Also, my sandwich is soggy after just receiving it. Worst Chick-fil-A service out of all of them! Stick to any...
