Went there today for lunch with my husband and baby. There were high chairs which was nice. I ordered a French dip, I had read a few reviews saying how good it was but to me is was very bland. :( the aju sauce had no flavor and the sandwich had no flavor. I got some horseradish for the second half of my sandwich and that helped. I also got a bowl of clam chowder, the clam chowder was pretty good. My husband got the bread bowl with clam chowder and ate the whole thing. We got mac n cheese for my 1 yr old and she loved it. The prices are pretty high, all that food came up to 50 bucks which seemed like a lot but it was a good amount of food. The clam chowder and mac n cheese came with bread so that was a nice addition. The bread tasted fresh and good. The staff was nice and attentive. Only thing I was disappointed in was the lack of flavor in the French dip. If you get it, I'd suggest horseradish or something else...
Read moreOrdered food here recently and experienced a few failures in staff training that could've ended badly if I had a food allergy and/or didn't catch the error in time. There were some glitches with my order getting entered correctly and the server's lack of familiarity with the menu - she said she was new, learning takes time, not holding that against her. I can't eat them," I replied. Sad trombone, it had raw onions. Discovered this too late to go back and ask for it to be made without the offending alliums. tldr: staff need more training to correctly answer questions on ingredients, and on paying attention to what they're handling so maybe they notice the ingredient a customer has specifically flagged. The food is...
Read moreI stopped by the new shop yesterday August, 25th. First time inside sourdough company, I really like the interior and the design. I was met with a very friendly young man who took my order on register he helped me pick out my sandwiches for the first time, recommended me French Dip and Garlic Pesteo Turkey. Food was pricey, but everything is nowadays. It wasn't very busy in the shop but my two sandwiches took over 20 minutes. I believe the chefs forgot about my order since they were chatting, luckily the register worker realized this and directed the chefs to get my order out. After we were done eating the young man worker came to our table and apologized for the long wait once again and insisted on giving us a coupon for $5 off 20$ order for next time.
Over all, me and my husband will come again. Bread was delightful, service from employee was excellent, would only wish quicker service...
