My husband and I have been here several times and typically order in advance through their app. Hardly have any complaints about the food and enjoy the service since were usually treated the same as any other customer.
Today was different and our service was extremely subpar. The employees seemed incompetent, new, and the one in particular we had the most time with came off as sexist towards my husband. This employee seemed extra friendly to a young lady in front of us in line since she apparently was a regular and tried talking to her about her day. Didnāt seem like anything harmful, but affected his performance on the tasks at hand.
By the time I was next to be helped, he tried stirring up the same type of friendly conversation, was nervous and tried redirecting the conversation to how my day was going while fumbling the utensils, throwing the food around and repeating the same questions to me several times. I though maybe he was new to the job and didnāt think much of it until he treated my husband completely different.
He stated there would be an extra $2 charge for the cauliflower rice to see if he was okay with that (which he didnāt ask me though I got the same thing) and didnāt get a full scoop for my husband. He gestured like he was going to correct it and then backed off since the company policy is one scoop per person or youāll be charged more to make sure everyone gets a fair amount. Well, thatās never stopped us from making sure we got the adequate amount in the first place until today and the employees tone and behavior changed enough for us to ask for a manager to please correct this because my husband was being treated differently than I was from the very beginning.
While the employees were piling on the guacamole on my 4 tacos, my husband was getting short changed for his meal and felt the service we paid for was subpar and again, sexist, because the treatment and service I got shouldāve been reflected for him as well and not strictly...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreJust went there today and had a horrendous experience. I waited in the line for maybe 20-30 minutes, all the while the people up front were prioritizing online orders, and even as I worked my way to the front I was still told to wait while the guy distributing did four more. When he did finally serve us, we were given portions of all three ingredients in the grams, and the woman following wasn't much better- even worse she, as the person tasked with wrapping, had to fumble around in the ingredients for a while before she shut it. The resulting burrito is not only poorly wrapped, but toddler-sized. I would call it a light snack at best, when this is supposed to be my dinner. As an additional insult, the steak is burnt. Lastly, the cashier- whatever her deal was, it must've seriously wounded her, because she literally did not address me or my brother throughout the exchange other than in singular demands. When we'd finished up, she all about shuffle-boarded the burritos across the counter to meet me. Abysmal. I've loved Chipotle for many years now; when my dad was alive, he and i went there frequently, and we would always joke about how large my meal was, given that I always order with lots of ingredients. The staff were always amicable, and even stingy servers managed to wind up with a medium-sized meal by the end of it. Thus was my understanding of this establishment. After several encounters like the above stated, I've just lost all trace of faith. This specific Chipotle is one I wouldn't even toss into a roster of potential restaurants anymore; In the same light you wouldn't offer to take your friend to Carl's Jr, do not offer to take them to this cesspool of inefficiency and grime. It is an insult. If you want a good burrito with a decent size and taste with friendly servers, don't visit this horrendous faux-eatery. Go to Burrito Bandito by...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI had a very unpleasant interaction at this location today. I ordered a chicken burrito for my son. The gal that made it was as social as most Chipotle employees. I'm not sure if she was new or having a bad day but she folded the burrito to where both ends were open on the outside and not tucked into the torilla. As she is doing this I mentioned, "That burrito is going to fall apart" she proceeded to wrap it in foil, write a C on it and not acknowledge my comment. The cashier began to ring me up and I told her how the ends of the burrito were not tucked into the torilla & I am afraid it's going to create a huge mess. Her response was, "Do you want a bowl" which I replied, "I guess." I feel she could see how ridiculous that was considering I am ordering a burrito & asked the young lady who made it to rewrap the contents of the burrito. As she is wrapping it, she did successfully tuck the corners in, and I said, "Thank you." She didn't respond and then she took the burrito and tossed it into the bowl they gave me for the mess. Again, I said, "Thank you" and again no response. I was completely blown away by the bizarre & bratty attitude I was receiving. I proceeded to grab my burrito in the paper bowl, bag it myself and I then asked the cashier what the issue was and why the girl making my burrito couldn't reply, "YOU'RE WELCOME." I then asked her directly, which she said, "You're welcome" in a cold as ice tone. What is wrong with people? Are manners no longer a thing? I was nice the entire time up to this point. The truth of the matter is I wasn't welcome & didn't feel welcome. It's clear this location could care less about customers given their...
