Pokeland Extra — Restaurant in Redding

First time visiting here yesterday and I was so excited to try it. Super friendly staff, clean set up and looked like very fresh food. Unfortunately I got gnarly food poisoning. Either the poke, the rice or the creamy Sriracha sauce based on how fast I got sick. Sorry guys.

** UPDATE * Today I went to throw away the other half of my pokerito from the fridge and there is a FLY inside the completely sealed (clear plastic ) container. It was open once, in the car when I ate 1 half and then completely sealed the container and it went into the fridge. THE FOOD HAS FLY LARVAE (they hatch within 24 hours, I checked online).... Really enjoy this place! Like to occasionally come here☆ Their Pokebowls are really yummy and there are lots of options. The way the food is contained makes it a really good to-go food option but - although there is room - it is not much of a sit down resturant, you get a red tray and a take out container when you dine in so its easy for you to take your food to go. The seafood ramen 🍜 is really good, i like how thick and tasty the fishcakes 🍥 are, usually they are smaller and less flavorful at other resturants so i thought it was pretty neat ☆) I look forward to eventually trying the pokerito bc it sounds cool, it basically just seems like...

When I walked in, the girl at the counter was very welcoming and nice. I was not sure how this place worked, so she patiently explained everything. I was really excited! The price was a bit much; I got a large. Honestly though, the food was fantastic. I really can't complain, the spicy house sauce and spicy mayo was phenomenal. I've been thinking about this place every since I went a few days ago, it was that good! I wish I could go back more often but with so many cheaper options around, I probably will only go about once a month or every other. Definitely worth trying; you won't be...
