WHEN DID THEIR GREEN SAUCE BECOME SOO HOT ITS INEDIBLE!? Did the aunt who made the full flavor, delicious green meal accompaniment pass away!? Lord I hope that's not the case. I put it on my chxn tacos, took one bite, & cried when my mouth was on FiRE...for the next 20mins! Thank God they make fire quenching, delish Hortcha. Even the red sauce has gotten much hotter. I need the nice aunt, ya know the one who likes white people, to come back & make the most delicious green sauce in the world. Please! The green burritos, chxn tacos, chxn burritos & shredded beef burritos demand it! I've only aten here for the past 30yrs. Everyone knows I will always have a special place in my heart for Cucas. In my opinion their food is top notch. Quality is unparalleled in everything they make. They dont use dark meat chxn...they use shredded breast meat & its juicy & delish...which is rare. Their shredded beef could use a little more cumin in it, but it too is tough to beat. Stay at Redlands Cucas though. Yucaipa likes to replace real cheese with Nacho Cheese in ur food & close between 7&8pm w/o notice :( In my experience, it can be detrimentally disappointing...like the flaming hot green sauce. Cant even taste it cause all my little tounge tastes is pain & sadness over the loss of my most favorite, flavor packed, green sauce. May it NOT RIP! May it return to stay. soon. Let me start by saying the food here is GOOD. The prices are decent for the amount of food you get. If you make it a “meal” you get a fountain drink and your choice of a small fry or side of chips and salsa. The side of chips portion is generous and the chips are thick but really two thin and crispy pieces together. The salsa is thin and liquidy but the flavor is good with just a little kick. The bean and cheese burrito was at max capacity for the tortilla they used. The fries are good - just crispy enough on the outside and soft on the inside. So if there were no other issues I’d definitely eat here again.... however. The way our food was packed (we ordered 2 burritos, a taco, chips/salsa and fries. The burritos were shoved under the taco container in a small bag and it looked as though they weren’t in there, so I returned to the window (after being in my car) to ask about it. The guy at the window was very rude and actually accused me of taking them out and leaving them in the car - before he suggested that they might be beneath the taco container. So the treatment I received mostly accounts for the two stars. The other part of the low score is unfortunately that the neighborhood is sketchy. In the 15 minutes from the time we ordered till we left (we didn’t eat there) we were approached by two people panhandling. Redlands is mostly a nice community but I’m not likely to return to...

The food here is very delicious, the way they cook their carne asada tastes like it actually is asada, and I love going here with my family for burritos. The ONLY reason I didn't give them 5 stars is because of one employee, a younger girl who took my order. I gave her specifics and even repeated my order to make sure she got it right. She didn't bother reading back my order, I asked instead of my guacamole inside my burrito if she could put it on the side and she did but charged me almost $2 for it, and messed up 2 of my other orders. Not to mention, the look on her face, even though she kept calm, looked like she was irritated by me and like she didn't want to be there. I was kind and apologetic for the the substitutions, but she didn't seem to care, just stuck in RBF mode. My boyfriend went back to fix the order and a young man, who was very helpful, fixed the order for him and even refunded him for the guacamole, so their customer service isn't necessarily a problem, just that one girl who works there.
