Update on 01/05/25 👍👍👍 Under new management from January 2025. And still to me, the best Asian restaurant near Loma Linda & in Redlands so far! Even though, on our last visit the tastes of our regular orders tasted a little different (I doubt if there’s a new chef or not!). Also, the service potions became less compared to the price. Overall they are still the best to me & family and I hope they will remain so. I'll update my review after few more visits & within few months. ✴️Reviewed on 2024 The best Asian restaurant near Loma Linda & in Redlands so far! Compare to the price the serving portion is more with awesome taste! If you want to taste the closest to Chinese (Sichuan) & Thai dishes, you need to try here. Excellent service. I am Asian & from Indian sub continent and we know authentic asian tastes & spices. I and my family explore food places and love dining different restaurants & specially try out Eastern Asian foods. There are costly and also inexpensive restaurants & their order portion & tastes differ on the price. But surprisingly Red Chilli beat them all! Yes! Bigger portion with tastiest dishes with less price. Believe me & just try once. You won't regrate. Even after the pandemic they are holding that standard. Now, they opened the dine in beside take away. *Their Mongolian Beef is a must try!

For the price and food - everything is a 10/10. Service is so kind and direct. My family (my parents, my two younger siblings, and I) have come to really enjoy visiting Red Chilli to grab a family dinner. We purposely order more for food the upcoming week too when the schedule becomes busy. Our favorites are the following: R60 house Special Chow Mein R29 Spicy Stewed fish with boiled vegetables R11 Shredded pork in spicy garlic sauce 42 Mongolian beef For those who love spicy foods, depending on whether you are one who eats the peppers or not, take your choice and prepare for a journey! All the foods that have been made have a flavor that catches something reminiscent of home. Service is incredibly kind, attentive, and family oriented. The ambiance is warm. I'm attending school around the area, and I can't wait come many more times! God bless you all.

This was the second time going to this restaurant and it surpassed even my first visit. The food here is incredible!! We got the wontons in chili sauce, twice cooked pork, and lamb with bamboo shoots. The food didn’t take very long to arrive. The lamb was spicy and definitely had a strong lamb flavor but wasn’t too gamey. It was also pretty spicy but not so much that it was difficult to eat or overwhelmed the other flavors. The twice cooked pork has just the right balance of sweet and spicy. The wontons were my wife’s favorite. We are so happy we stumbled upon this place by accident (just saw it as we were about to get on the freeway).

Update:

Switching to 5 stars from 4, we've gone back a bunch of times now and pretty much everything has been very good.

Terrible service, great fish - flip over the menu for the "r" items.

They wouldn't let us move to another table even though there were 3 available so we were suck sitting in front of the door when it was, like, 40 degrees outside. Then they took forever to take our order, then forever to make the food all of which, I must remind you, while enduring the frequent opening and Frost-blast of the "we can't move you to another table" front door situation.

That said, the food was very very good. I got the Dan Dan noodles which were very good. Nice chew on hearty noodles.

The fried fish dish must be my new favorite fish dish anywhere, it was something like fried marinated catfish-tenders (like giant super fancy fish sticks). It was just a bit spicy (don't be scared by the bed of fried peppers it's served on, it's a 1 out of 3 spice) with a really nice citrus twist.

We also got the mapo tofu of which neither my wife nor I were particularly fond, but that might just be because we don't like mapo tofu? We'd never tried it before.

Anyway, it was really really good, but maybe opt for takeout and maybe order well in advance if you don't want to deal with their indifferent,...

Went in for lunch. Ordered Orange chicken and Cashew chicken lunch specials. Orange chicken came in about 15 minutes. No sauce for egg role. After 5 minutes I flagged down a waitress and she waved her hand dismissively and said ya, I know. 5 minutes later she all but threw the dish of sauce on the table and sped away before I could ask where my food was. After 15 minutes, I put down money for the orange chicken And we got up to leave. My wife had left her food as it was the worst orange chicken she had ever had. Extremely tough (she gave me a piece and I could hardly chew it. Had to spit it out) Just as we were leaving, the waiter came and said, your food is coming. We sat back down and my food came. My food was good, but my wife's was probably a to go order that was never picked up and sat around for an hour. (and probably why she got it when she did). When the brought the check, my wife's food was hardly eaten and she told the waiter it was terrible. He went and told the manager and she just shrugged as if "tough shit". I should note that while I was waiting for my food, three different times, someone came in, ordered food and ended up getting their to go orders. We will not be going back and I would not...
