I have nothing but good things to say about this business.

About a year ago, me and my now fiancé started ring shopping. We went to different stores in the area so that we could find "the ring." We went to various chain retailors (Zales, Helzberg, etc.) and some stores in downtown Redlands. At those stores we felt like the sales people where trying really hard to get us to buy something that day regardless if we liked the ring or not; it made us uncomfortable.

My fiancé found this store and we decided to check it out. I was blown away at how kind the shop owners where to us. This is a family run store and you can really feel it. The husband was very kind and helped me look through the rings. He asked me what my preferences where and suggested a few. What I remember the most is that he really cared about what I thought, rather than pushing us to buy something. While showing me the rings, he watched my facial expressions as I tried them on. If he noticed I wasn't impressed by a ring he suggested, he would say "Oh, don't worry about that one then, what about this one?" There was a ring that the jeweler (the husband) was very proud of because he made it himself. My fiancé was very impressed, we could tell how proud this man was of the ring he created. Not once did we feel pushed to make a purchase. When we left, the husband and wife just smiled and told us to have a good day.

Fast forward to now and my fiancé proposed with the ring that the jeweler was so proud of and I love it so much. I recently went to the store to get my engagement ring resized as well as get a few other pieces of jewelry fixed. The wife helped me this time and she was so sweet. I needed to get a wedding band and she listened to my suggestions and was able to find something that I really wanted. What I appreciated is that she asked me about our wedding and I felt like she really cared. It was really nice to talk with her. She also gave me good suggestions. I want to get my engagement ring engraved with my fiancé's name and she walked me through what was and was not possible due to the width/size of the ring. I feel like they really do care about their customers. As other people where coming in, the owners would call them by their names and where very welcoming.

Pricing I feel is reasonable. Apart from the engagement/wedding rings, I wanted to get a (non wedding) ring resized bigger and a broken golden chain fixed. The price for both of those repairs was $250, mainly due to the gold that needed to be added to my ring. My fiancé is a very frugal man, and although he wont tell me how much he paid, he said he got the engagement ring at a good price. I also wanted to get a simple gold band to wear to work, that was $400. For the diamond wedding band, I was able to place it on layaway. When I asked when I needed to pay it off by or how often I need to make payments, they just told me I can come in at my own convenience and pay it off as I can. I really appreciated how low pressure it was.

Overall I have had very good experiences at this store. This is a family run business that I am happy to support and I look forward to...

I came in here a few days ago to see if they would buy my gold & a couple of diamonds, when I walked in I introduced myself to the younger of the 2 men working that day I introduced myself & reached out to shake his hand before we started talking business as an act of kindness & respect but I got a dirty smug look back instead & he didn't give me his name, so he started looking at my items & was more concerned about the window behind me when 2 younger guys walk in he greets them & was super nice & friendly to them he then gets back to me & asks me what I want for all of this I told him I wanted him to take a look at each piece & let me know what they would pay, he scooped everything up & went to throw it on a scale, I told him never mind because I could tell hes about to give me a discounted scrap price by weight, he then gets all pushy asking me what do I want for it, I told him I want him to look at everything carefully because I had a few 10k pieces, about 15 pieces of 14k & 1 - 18k ring + 3 diamonds but he insisted on being pushy about asking me what I got offered at a shop I went to the day before, in my opinion this guy was

Rude & Pushy, instead of him giving you a fair evaluation he gets pushy about what you want in case you have something of good value & you state a price that's too low he will gladly take that piece off your hands,

A waste of time because he doesn't really give your items a fair evaluation he treats it all as scrap, I had diamonds in mine verified with a diamond tester the day before & this shop didn't even bother to evaluate that properly.

If anything coming to this shop made me appreciate the other shops, they seperated everything by karat, weighed it, looked up spot wrote down a price for each piece & in the case of diamonds the guy got the diamond tester out then pulled out something to determine the clarity & size of the diamond.

I guess the reason I was being treated so rudely was to get me out of his way because the 2 young men that came in after me had called in advance they were coming in with some gold, diamonds & a Rolex from the conversation they were having as I was packing up & he was being fair & kind with them & lol as Karma would have it that when he was over there introducing himself that one of the young guys really didn't want to give him his name he said "call me mmm Dee" & of course the diamonds & the Rolex turned out to be fake but what was real is the impression I got of how they run this store, I would recomend that if you want a fair & honest evaluation you go elsewhere if they dont seperate things by Karat they are more than likely giving you the total weight as if its all low Karat & if hes not testing the diamonds in your jewelry & paying you out for those you really need to go...

I typically don't do reviews but this deserves one. Excellent place! I needed a custom-designed diamond setting with lab diamond last minute (due to the online diamond store losing my diamond during shipping somehow) and Andrew was able to do it quickly do it and easily blew past my expectations! Here is the high level summary as to why you should come here for ring shopping:

Price: pricing for lab diamonds is super competitive: way cheaper than typical lab diamond sites like Brilliant Earth and Blue Nile. Somehow competitive with some of the lowest online diamond stores you can find! The price of the custom designed ring I got was a very good deal, I doubt I was able to find another custom-designed ring for a lower price, both online and definitely compared to other in stores. Service: I got an extremely accurate and competitive quote for a custom-designed engagement ring. Andrew was able to make 3D renders and upon commenting on things I didn't initially like, he was able to quickly make different renders and provide changes to the design. For example, he recommended putting a basket onto the original setting for longevity for the ring, something I never thought of but he knew that I value durability. Environment: Family-owned business. I visited the store multiple times just to browse and check out options. I asked a lot of questions and the family/staff were always eager to help. There was no pressure for me to make an immediate sale/purchase. The store wasn't artificially brightly lit to make diamonds brighter than what they naturally would look like. It just felt authentic. Honesty: I was quoted a certain price for my ring initially. I accepted and signed the paperwork and put in the deposit. When I picked up the ring, he said that since I signed the paper, the cost of platinum went down significantly and he passed the savings to me! I gladly signed the paperwork for the initial quote. He had absolutely no legal obligation to lower the price and pass it to me (BTW he only asked if I liked my experience to put a review in AFTER passing on the savings, not before which could have look like a conditional treatment. I had no obligation to put a review whatsoever).

So overall, an honest, family-owned, physical store that offers lab (and natural) diamonds with custom settings available whose lab diamond pricing is competitive with the cheapest online lab diamond wholesale store that you can really find… Easy 5 stars and definitely seriously considering as your one and only shopping place for...
