One of my more exciting discoveries here in the Inland Empire! I've had lunch there a few times and have been impressed.
INTERIOR: The feel of the place is just straight up bistro. Very clean and organized, also there is a huge TV thats always showing sports. Once you come into the door there are menus ready for you to look at, so by the time you make it down to order you know what you want. Also please make sure you know what you want, mainly because this place gets busy with a lot of regulars.
FOOD: The food at this place is just delicious! I have been there dozens of times trying many different sandwiches and it only comes out one way: delicious! I would recommend! I'm pretty sure it'll beat your usual lunch of subway or panera bread. Soup is good too.
PRICE: Although it has been a little while since I've been back, the price of the food fair. For me though, it is a Redlands staple and it is well worth your money. Be aware that this place isn't a franchise so you'll know that you'll be helping a local Redlands business!
SERVICE: The service is a good, and although you won't find your super chirpy enthusiastic server, they get the job done. The people working the line for the sandwiches are seasoned veterans of a crazy busy lunch hour. Like I said before please try to make sure you know what you want when it is your turn, it just helps move things along. In short, they are great people and know how to do their job well!
P.S: Continue to support this restaurant and those in the Redlands community! It is great to see new restaurants pop up for U of R and/or Crafton students and the community! The more support these businesses get the more businesses will come and fulfill...
Read moreHonestly, I have mixed feelings about this place. My husband ordered a cheese steak sandwich which usually comes with white cheese on it, but it had American cheese. But the meat was extremely tasty and tender. I ordered the meat plate which was one sausage, two homemade meatballs with homemade marinara sauce. And it came with a side of garlic toast. On one hand the meat was over-seasoned but all of it together ended up being quite amazing. The ambience however was very distasteful. It's a very small restaurant with six tables crowded together. When we ordered at the counter, the lady quickly went through a list of things that they didn't have. I found it kind of odd to be out of so many things when it was only 2 in the afternoon. I had to have her repeat it several times because the music was so incredibly loud....so loud that you couldn't even talk to the person across from you. One lady kept hollering and we couldn't even figure out what she was saying. Another strange thing, was when I went to pay, the only options on the signing port was a tip (really?). The place really needed a thorough cleaning especially the bathroom. Even though I enjoyed the food, I really detested the atmosphere and couldn't wait to get out of there. If I come back, I'll get...
Read moreToday has been a very hard day for me, only thing I wanted was a sandwich from Saverinos. I called around 12:45 to verify they were open due to the holiday and the woman on the phone said yes. I asked if they were closing early or the usually time at 3 and she said 3. I got to the deli at 1:40 and they told me they were closing. If you guys had plans on closing early depending on how the day was going or due to the holiday or due to inventory issues or concerns (they said they “ran out of everything, completely sold out”) then that should have been mentioned when I called earlier instead of me showing up to you guys closing the doors on me. From the time I called to the time I was able to get there you guys sold out of everything? By the way, I usually come here strictly for the food and not the service, there’s about one or two individuals here that actually have good customer service and the rest not so much and today it really showed. I’m very disappointed and let down by you Saverinos. It’s really a shame because I have referred so many people here who fell in love with the place but I won’t be doing so anymore and honestly I’m not sure if I ever plan on coming back after what...
