18 Must-Do Activities in San Bernardino: Your Ultimate Guide from LA 🎈

When they first opened there were massive lines out the door. I'm happy I waited a few months to try this place out. The owner is super nice and he truly suggests you try the most popular ice cream tacos. I opted for the Mint Oreo with a purple waffle taco shell and my husband went with what the owner suggested the Honey Avocado taco. He went ahead and got it the original way with the black waffle taco shell. Everything is made right here from the ice cream to the waffle taco shells. This place is a definite must try. Even more now that it's getting hot outside. The ice cream is not too sweet even with all the mix-ins it is still not that sweet and the waffle taco shell absolutely compliments the ice cream. They have different colors available: pink, black, purple, blue and a few others. Hubby definitely like the honey Avocado one but you must truly be an avocado lover for this one. I'll be posting up videos of how they make the ice cream. ☺️ They do have tables outside for your dining experience. This is seriously and homage of my childhood favorite the Chocotaco. So if you loved that ice cream you'll live this.

I only have 2 negative things to say. The first is that some of the employees were wearing crop top and very low cut shirts, even the males had shirts that didn't seem appropriate to be working around food. There isn't supposed to be that much skin exposed when preparing someone's food, so maybe a standard t-shirt and apron would be better and more food safe. The second thing is that they should offer a smaller size ice cream for younger kids or people who don't want so big of a serving. Other than that it was our families first time there and we did like it. There were a lot of Asian fruit flavors. That was kind of odd since they are "tacos". They all looked great but some flavors do sound more appealing than others.y husband and I got the Churro. It tasted like a bowl of cinnamon toast crunch. My 2 year old got the plain strawberry flavors, of course I tried his and it I was happy to taste the fresh strawberries. There was inside and outside dining which we enjoyed.

First, this is a novel concept, however once you get past the ice cream taco, there really isn't anything special about it.

On our visit, the girl making our "tacos" was super rude. She made one wrong twice and after, refused to make another one, saying "I already made it twice and I'm not making another one."

The shop was a bit dirty with overflowing trash cans and dirty tables. We had to ask an employee to wipe down a table.

Now, for the ice cream, it was ok. Again, nothing special. Certainly not worth $8.75. Because of the way they roll the scoop, it is nice and cold but it is very hard to eat, almost rubbery when you try to scoop it with a spoon. You end up making a small mess. If you let it sit for a few minutes it softens up a bit.

As far as the taco goes, you definitely cannot eat it like a taco. The waffle shell is pretty brittle and actually makes eating the ice cream a bit difficult. The shells are all one flavor no matter the color you choose and the flavor is minimal as best.

If you're a person who likes to try new things, a single visit would be suffice. If you are an ice cream enthusiast, you may find Sweet Rolled Tacos a bit...

Overall, I would give Sweet Rolled Tacos a solid 4 out of 5 stars. The flavors of the ice cream and the unique concept of rolled tacos as cones are definitely the highlights of the shop. The ice cream flavors are delicious and inventive, with a range of classic and seasonal options. The texture of the ice cream is creamy and smooth, and the taco cones provide a fun and tasty twist.

However, the portions at Sweet Rolled Tacos are only okay. The size of the rolled tacos is on the smaller side, and while they do offer some toppings, it can be easy to finish your treat quickly and be left wanting more. Additionally, the prices are quite expensive, especially when compared to other ice cream shops in the area.

Despite the higher price point, I would still highly recommend giving Sweet Rolled Tacos a try if you're in the Redlands area. The unique concept and delicious flavors are definitely worth experiencing at least once, and the portions may be more satisfying for those who prefer smaller treats. Overall, Sweet Rolled Tacos is a tasty and fun addition to the local ice...
