This is truly a unique gem in Central Oregon. The food has a home cooked feel to it, yet elegant. Everything is made to order including freshly made chips and salsa. They even can make fresh flour tortillas to order. The staff is friendly and inviting, they come out and ask how you meal is as you are eating. The best meal I’ve had in a LONG time. Starting with the homemade chips and salsa. Then the house (orange) margarita with Chamoy. Then the entree! I got the Plato Fondita and my husband got the Quesadilla platter. Everything on each of our plates was exceptional. My husband was especially happy that our platters came within whole fresh roasted jalapeños. Flavorful, fresh, and skillfully made. Excellent Mexican food in a quaint little place (8 or 9 tables indoors, a couple outside). Four kinds of house-made salsas along with Pozole and Menudo on the weekend vouch for its authenticity.
