I'm giving this 1 stars because there is no option for 0 stars. This place has got to be the most over priced burger joint on the west coast. We heard great things about this place from a couple of kids at Freddie's, so we thought we'd give it a try. When we got there we stood at the counter waiting to be seated. After about 5 minutes a waitress comes over and asks us what we wanted to order. I figured she would seat us, then take our order. I didn't want to cause any trouble so I grabbed a menu sitting on the counter and asked her for a minute. We figured it pretty quickly and placed our order. "Will that be for here or to go?" I told her it was dine in. She then told us that we could sit anywhere and gave us our total. I had to grab hold of the counter when the waitress said it would be $60 for our meal. All we ordered were two burgers w/fries. No drinks. No nothing else. Well I thought.. this has got to be good food! So I paid and turned around to see where my wife was. She walked over to me and said that all the tables were dirty. There were only three other customers in the joint, so you think we could'a found a clean table to sit at... Nope! I grabbed a couple of napkins and wiped down a table. Then we waited... and waited... and waited some more. After 45 min our server came out with our food. This was the moment we'd been waiting for. As soon as bit down on my burger I knew that something was wrong. The burger meat was cold. I asked my wife how hers was and she said, "Well, it's kind of dry, but I guess it's ok. It's just food I suppose." I was in no mood to complain. I'd just suck it up and eat my dinner. At least I had some fries to munch on. The damn fries were soggy and lukewarm warm at best. We left our food at the table and walked out. From what I could tell from the scant few bites I had was that the burgers and fries were in no way worth $30 each, especially not cold and soggy. We...
Read moreI rarely post reviews that aren't positive but I went on the website and poked around and could not find any way to contact the owner. Anyway, I was picking up my dad from a 30 hr flight from overseas and placed the order when picking up bags at the baggage claim in hopes food would be ready when we get to RBC. We arrived; the lady couldn't find me order, only found it after I showed her the ticket. At that point it was pretty obvious they hadn't started it. I asked her to put it in "for here" since it was now going to be a sit and wait deal, no big deal. We weren't offered any water, asked for drinks, and 45 minutes later (not an exaggeration, I looked at order time stamp to food arrival and happy to share with owner) our food came out, well after others who ordered after us. It was just one burger and one salad. The food was good, which it always has been and bend/redmond burger, no complaints at all. But I asked for utencils, which she said were in the box. So we had one for, I asked for another, which seemed to be an inconvenience to the young man. I couldn't seem to get a knife or a refill so I just used my pocket knife which is fine. Anyway, its very rare that I have a bad experience, I'm not that picky, I'm not in a hurry, I'm don't honk my horn or harass wait staff. We just got up, paid for our drinks which they had forgotten about, and off we go. I'll give it one more go and update my review and I know its very hard to get and keep good employees. I hope this helps the owner and will update/modify review when I give it another...
Read moreHave been here before without any issue but after today I might not ever come back.
Our server was super nice at first until it came around to ordering our drinks. When it was time for me to show my OD (which is an Oklahoma ID, I moved here a year and a half ago) She refused to serve me because “your ID doesn’t expire on your birthday and it’s a law they’re supposed to expire on your birthday”
My ID is an Oklahoma ID, not an Oregon ID. That law only applies to Oregon IDs & Drivers Licenses. Oklahoma ID expirations do not work the same way. She could NOT comprehend that, that law was an Oregon state law, not a national law.
She then told me she had to go google it and said she COULD NOT scan it as they don’t have the equipment to scan IDs but she will google it. Her and THREE OTHER COWORKERS stare at my ID and at google for over 10 minutes before she comes back and says “yeah we tried to scan your ID it wouldn’t even let us scan it.. have you ever scanned this before??” What happened to you saying you weren’t able to scan IDs? I have had this same ID since 2019. Why would I have not ever scanned it before?
For a place who offers a big variety of alcoholic beverages, it is beyond me that NOBODY who works there is properly trained on the basic identification laws. It was a very unprofessional and ignorant situation I had to deal with. My party just got up and left. That condescension coming from her for the fact SHE has no clue how IDs work was not worth dealing with...
