Honestly as a person who used to work here, I know what you can and can't do. I'm quite disappointed in the service I've been receiving. Not all impressed. I'm no longer an employee. I'm a customer. Customers always come first. If you have any allergies besides seafood I don't reccomend going here. Before going to sonic I've been getting extremely sick to strawberries. Well the manager (yes I know who) that I used to manage with walked up to the crew member before she turned off her head set and said "that's Jasmine! Make her drink taste like s#!t" -i always get a Dr.Pepper with cherry & vanilla. The crew member said well she's in that stall over there. The manager looked out the window and said "I don't want you walking to that stall" grabs the headset and says "it's still connected to the stall ?!" Then tells us to move to the other side of the building for the safety of the car-hop (its sunny and 65 degrees) then started laughing before she hung up. So we pull into another stall and my fiance was greeted horribly by a person we've never met before. Get our drinks. Go to ask the carhop to fix it she runs back off into the building giggling. The Dr.Pepper looked fine so I taste it and there are strawberries in the bottom of the cup. So of course I'm livid.
Alright now this is what I have to say about this, instead of being jerks and goofing off. How about you the manager be a leader instead of acting like a child. P.S I'm allergic to the strawberries you thought would be funny to put in the Dr.Pepper. You really need to think twice before you act. You could kill someone with your stunt. This place has gone down hill...
Read moreI know this isn't exactly Sonic's fault, but unfortunately the lack of staffing has effected the dining experience here many hard to overlook ways. The staff is inexperienced, which isn't horrible for fast food dining, but it certainly adds to the other items. There are very few stalls open, which is part of the Sonic brand. When I think of Sonic, I think of sitting in a stall with the servers coming up and delivering the food while everyone listens to music and hangs out in the car. Even if the wait is the same, there's something relieving about having already ordered and not waiting in line. There is also a huge line build up. Me and my parents went because my mom lives Sonic and they were visiting from out of town. We ended up getting there at about 1:45pm, which is certainly not the dinner or lunch rush. The ordering process was really slow. Maybe a car every 10 minutes. It was kind of difficult to deal with the order mix ups at that point, even though you know it's not that big of a deal. It's still Sonic. The food wasn't the best I've had from there, a few bits of meat hard as rock, and the burger wasn't assembled very neatly, but burgers never were meant to be fine art anyways. If you've got the time and you're craving a cherry limeade or an oreo blast, pop in when it's not busy and listen to something interesting...
Read moreLove the drinks here and the food is good as well. The last few months the signs put up by management have been insulting. I understand it's frustrating to be understaffed this long, but telling complainers to stuff their complaints unless they're willing to turn in an application is out of line. I've never complained about the wait, nor do I intend to, but if you can't be professional to your customers you will lose your business. I still frequent this establishment, because the staff has always been awesome but the management and leadership has me wondering if I need to go elsewhere. I would also suggest that they improve the experience for online orders or just shut it off. Right now if you online order there is often no stall accessible to pick it up in. The stalls they open up are the first to get blocked by the drive thru line if it's long. You can walk up to the patio, but there's been times they've even shut off those screens. This leads to a bad experience when I show up and waste additional time just to find out my only option is to wait in the drive thru. Improve your signage so that your online order customers aren't left to figure things out for themselves and add to the frustration. This economy has thrown us all a lot of curve balls, but some businesses have not...
