Elements Public House — Restaurant in Redmond

We sat there a long time before drink orders were taken, and then we waited 35 minutes for the drinks to come out. Iced tea, a lemonade, and a soda water, nothing fancy. Food oder was taken maybe 45 minutes after we sat down and took another hour to come out after that.

Food was mediocre at best. Very basic like what you would expect at a middle school cafeteria maybe. My tacos were OK, I've had better at a food truck. My friend ordered a Chef Salad, it came out with no blue cheese on it and the avocado was brown and some of the lettuce was wilted. The dressing was also not blue cheese, it was a ranch-like mixture. When she said something to the waiter he seemed confused by what was wrong and asked if she wanted a new avocado. She was so grossed out by the end of it that she didn't eat anything and just hit a fast-food restaurant on the way home.

My other friend also had a Chef Salad. It came out with no avocado, a large unappealing glob of blue cheese, and watered-down ranch dressing.

It was also a long wait for the food and we had to track down the server to cash out. Hopefully, it was just a bad night and this was a one-off experience.

It happened to be open mic night which was fun! So at least...

Uncooked ingredients, hair in food, bad service, overpriced. Don't bother.

Horrible service, waited 3 minutes before being helped despite being the only customer in the dining area, while the waitress who was sitting in a booth apparently didn't notice me, AGAIN the ONLY person in the dining area.

Paid cash and tipped above 15% before receiving the meal (large pizza and salad to go), bad idea in hindsight.

They didn't have the salad ingredients for our order so they replaced it, without asking, for a plain salad but at the same ridiculous $7 price for the small container of salad we received. This also was told to me in a less than pleasant tone, and felt like I had to accept this since they already prepared it.

The pizza is not noteworthy in anyway other than the dough was NOT cooked all the way through, and there was a long dark hair baked into the cheese...

Only reparations were a full refund, which is fine, and a feeble offer for another meal by the manager. But after receiving this unappealing mess I won't consider their food and I'll pass this experience along to all who consider it for themselves.

The always-empty parking lot should have been my first clue...

Most disappointing meal of 2022. Then I remembered the Taco Bell on airport drive by SEATAC airport and realized Saffron grill is tied for most disappointing meal of 2022. That Taco Bell was pretty bad.

I had the Tika Kebab Plate. I’ve never had a ribeye steak ruined to this degree. Each bite disintegrated into steak powder in the mouth. The vegetable was asparagus and was like eating dried corn husks. A mouthful of sharp spikes to spit out after every bite. The rice nondescript.

I gave 3 stars rather than 1 because the service was superb and the beer really good.

I tried again in 2023 with the barbecue pork sliders with fries. There was a generous amount of pork on the sliders and the food improved to mediocre from the previous visit. The beer was again, great. The server, this time mediocre.

Restaurant after restaurant goes out of business at this location. The Persian food theme is not working for this restaurant. The management really needs to visit a quality restaurant and take notes. I gave a 5 star review today to the brisket sandwich at the deli at Cartwright’s market in Medford. Management should visit Cartwright’s and see...
