Timber's Bar & Grill Redmond — Restaurant in Redmond

Food and drinks were great (I had the turkey bacon wrap with sweet potato fries, husband had the Philly cheesesteak), but I had mixed feelings about the service. It took a while for someone to come to our table, but once he did everything moved pretty quickly. The lady who brought our food to the table was surly, dropped it down in front of us like we were inconveniencing her with our presence, and when I said "Thank you," she said "Alright" and stalked off. Bartender (who had taken our order) came back to check on us, and I was so stunned by the lady's rudeness I didn't know what to say. When I told the bartender (whose name escapes me) what had happened, he said "Oh she's just a food runner," like that made it okay. We have always went here for drinks and dinner cause they have great food but we went in to give them a heads up that we would be having a large group come in for a going away party. The staff and the manager was rude and basically told me they couldn't accommodate us. I was shocked. My thought was what would you do if that many customers came in, your a bar, you going to turn them away and tell them to leave? I was more letting them know out of command curtsey so they wasnt blind sided and could maybe have an extra person on staff but now I'm like screw them. I wont be back in to give them my business and there are others that are not happy. I'm sure if the owners knew that his manager turned away a large group he wouldn't be pleased considering that was a large chunk of change he...

The food wasn't the worst but I wouldn't be in a hurry to return. The bar seemed nice but it was so loud in the building you could hardly hear the person across from you and for some reason there was hardly any light where they sat us. The server was hateful to one of our party in particular. She asked if she could order her meal instead of drinks and the server said no, you can just wait. I am only taking drink orders in a really snide tone. In fact the only decent service we received was from an older lady who took empty glasses and then asked us if we would like anything then promptly found what we asked so we tipped her for just being so kind.
