Acai bowls have become my latest obsession and Beach Bowls really knows how to assemble and deliver a tasty and healthy treat. You select one of three sizes with the regular being the perfect portion for two or one hearty meal for one. I went with the Peanut Butter acai bowl ($12) since these make for an incredible combination. Bowls include granola, bananas, and either honey or agave (the latter is my preferred vegan option), and I added on strawberries for an additional kick in fruit content. The acai blend was fantastic and the toppings made the bowl effortlessly delicious. I was able to finish it all by myself and believe me, it was hard not to have it all in one sitting. While not really a dine-in type of spot, Beach Bowls makes a great grab-and-go stop and you can enjoy it at one of the many public benches located in the area.

I found this place while roaming through the city. Their isn’t any seating inside at the moment, they have Mini, Small, and Large bowls, I got the small which came with one topping for free. The large comes with 2 free toppings. Banana is included in most bases and as a topping but substituting for another fruit doesn’t seem to add extra so that’s a way to get more fruit overall. I got the tropical blend with Blueberries and it was better than I expected. The base wasn’t too sweet, and overall very hydrating. Definitely would come back when I get the chance.

It was a warm day and I needed something to cool off. Stopped by Beach Bowls and it was the perfect thing I needed to beat the heat. I ordered the tropical mini and it was delicious and perfect! The additional banana and blue berries made it even better. The mini size was plenty for one person. Give this local business a try!

Yummy!! Instead of icecream have yourself a bowl of açai. I usually have the "Tropical" mini bowl. It has pineapple and mango in the mix. I add lychee to it and extra granola. I prefer almost every bite with some crunch. The mini- is 1 serving just right for 1 person. The small is huge. It's about 2 servings of the mini. So I guess depending how hungry you are. They have more sizes but I usually just get a mini which is plenty. Either way anything you get here is sure to delight your taste buds. It's healthy and good for you....
