Mi Burrito Mexican Grill — Restaurant in Redondo Beach

This was my 1st time ordering from mi burrito im having a party in December & was thinking about using them for catering so we ordered a bunch of different foods to try out..1st we ordered the pozole..we have tried many pozoles & this one was the best me & my daughter have ever had..we rate it 15/10..next I ordered a taco salad with a flour tortilla & thats usually one of my go tos when I go to a Mexican restaurant this salad was so delicious they have really good beans n rice then u can choose your meat of choice I chose carnitas it was so juicy n flavorful it also had lettuce n tomato & sour cream & guacamole..this salad was a 10/10..next we tried the chicken & shredded beef taquitos..this is on their catering menu so we had to try them we loved the shredded beef taquitos..next I made a mistake ordering but originally had thought I ordered 4 tacos because they cater chicken n shredded beef tacos & i really wanted to try them but it was my mistake so out of the 4 tacos I got 1 & it was carnitas..it was amazing my only complaint is if u order Uber eats your taco might get to u soggy but it was still really delicious so I cant wait to go to the actual restaurant so I can try the tacos I missed & get another amazing carnitas taco..then my daughter ordered a shredded beef tamale which they also cater..my daughter loved the tamale she gives it a 10/10..& the last item my daughter got was a chile relleno ..chile rellenos are also a favorite of mine so I took a bite to try it..my daughter rated it a 9.5/10...she would of gave it a 10 if it was without chile seeds..& the sauce was different from what im use to it think next time id ask if I could substitute the taco sauce for the relleno sauce..the taco sauce is so delicious n flavorful..I cant wait to visit the restaurant one day & try those hot n crispy tacos..MI BURRITO is now my FAVE Mexican restaurant in south bay.. ¡Winner Winner! Mi Burrito Mexican Grill has finally opened to the public despite the current Covid-19 prohibitions/restrictions prohibiting dining at the restaurant.

We ordered a wide variety of items as combo plates, sides & drinks to go to include cheese, shredded beef & potato enchiladas, chili rellenos, quesadilla, mango margaritas, cilantro, sour cream & slight changes /modifications to menu item presentation.

The hostess (Karen) was friendly & very knowledgeable about the entire menu & made good suggestions. The drinks were made quickly to accommodate our wait while our menu items were being prepared. -- The order was prepared quickly, the food was hot, prepared as requested, including requested modifications, and the order was checked for completeness before we were given our order to go.

The food was very very good, freshly made, ample sized portions, accompanied with chips & salsa, and very reasonably priced $$. Credit cards accepted for payment.

I will definitely be visiting this Mi Burrito in the future & can't wait to see the restaurant open up for indoor or patio dining. -- The hostess advised they'll be having live entertainment once the Covid restrictions are lifted.

For now, this is an excellent To Go / Take Out location. It is easily visible from the street, 1st floor curbside location, situated on the Avenue I side of the building (southeast corner Catalina/Ave I.) Definitely...

I can't count the amount of times I've passed by this place. Finally today we stopped by. We were warmly greated by the staff and seated. Seating is either inside or outside, we picked outside which was pleasant. The waiter was prompt in meeting us and offered a an assortment of drinks that were available.

The menus we were given were new looking, clean and offered a lot of choices.

We picked the Fish Bowl with Talapia, green rice, pico del gallo and sour cream.

The second choice was a tostada. The waiter gave me the option for the tostada bowl. That sounded better.

The third was the Ensenada Taco.

The Fish Bowl was EXCELLENT! The talapia was fresh and seasoned nicely. The green rice was seasoned with cilantro and had great texture topped with sour cream.. Totally yum!

The Tostada bowl was filled with beef, beans, lettuce, tomato and lots of guacamole and cheese. Very good!!!!!

The Ensenada Taco had beer battered shrimp pilled high with lettuce, purple cabbage and a nice tasting sauce on two soft corn tortillas. The taco was one the the best we've had. It was so good we ordered another one. These taco's were great!

As for the price vs. what you get, its a pretty good deal. Very well...
