Placed a medium family sized order of various foods for pickup for the first time at this location.
It was not assembled or ready when we got there at the time indicated on our online order. When we did arrive, the order was thrown together by looking at their order receipt and by asking us what we ordered by 3 different people.
When we got back to the car and checked the bag, multiple items were missing. We went back and got them.
The food itself was so amazingly old, cold, and stale. The online customized items we ordered were not what we got either. We only got the non-customized items. We ended up having to throw out half of our order because of how old, cold, and stale it was.
It was not that busy, but there were people coming in and out placing orders & buying food. Many people were working, yet it seemed so rushed and hectic despite no line or rush. Having 3 people assemble our order so rushed and hectic is why I can see how our order got so mixed up. Yet I'm not sure why not one person took the time to assemble it ahead of time or pay attention to the order details or read the order receipt they were using as reference or check to see all items were there before handing it to us.
Overall not a good experience, and won't return to this location. We do like Popeye's food and have ordered the same food before many times, always loving it. So I'd recommend going to a different location if you like or want to...

This particular time going here, I didnt place my order ahead of time just to see how it would be since I have kicked myself for placing the order beforehand in previous experiences. So I go in to order which doesn't take as long as usual and I was actually going to praise them but then I got home and they forgot to bag half of my order (which was over $70). So I had to drive back up there since they wont/dont answer the phone number that's on the receipt and when I explain what happened, a manager comes out and says...."oh that wasnt in the bag, here you go". No apology whatsoever for wasting my time and gas driving back there. For the sake of not ranting I will save my other negative experiences for another post but this place always fails and it's sad because it really is the only popeyes for at least 10+ miles. My suggestion is to check your order thoroughly before leaving the store because this is not the first, second or third time this...
ย ย ย Read moreI had all the patients in the world as they called out numbers below and above mine even after I came up to the front to inquire what the hold up was. The two young ladies who had attitudes you can tell on their faces and behavior. When told two wait a few more minutes I asked were we still waiting for my pies? She exclaimed yes. So I asked the cook what happened to the pies? He looked perplexed and said the pies have been up. Sure enough there were the pies sitting there. In addition I ask for green beans. They including manager tried to sneak in red beans as the young lady reluctantly said I though you said red beans and rice . clearly green beans can't be replaced by redhead and rice. So the manager steps in and makes a small order and tries to put in my bag as if he didn't know my order included 2 large sides with the 12piece meal..after all this I reluctantly excepted the red beans and rice. 45minures waiting u probably would to. An unfortunate experience but notedly its been simular...
