NEVER, NEVER IN YOUR LIFE VISIT THIS “MAGIC” salon because you will regret it! I have been visiting this salon for over 10 years but only for manicure, pedicure, and wax. I had a Hairstylist at another salon for 44 years but sadly she moved to another state. Amy the owner of “Magic Salon Hair & Nails” (NOTHING MAGIC - Amy isn’t a women Hairstylist, I’m sure she failed the test) had always offered me to do my highlights and I had never accepted because I never let anyone else touch my hair other than my Hairstylist. When my Hairstylist moved to another state I decided to try Amy and on June 14/2023 she did my highlights and charged me $200; my highlights were not great but I thought maybe I needed to get used of Amy and I gave her another chance, and yesterday September 15/2023 I went for the half-inch root re-touch to cover my gray hair and I told her that I did NOT want it black, that I wanted it light golden brown to match my highlights. She did it BLACK and she covered all the blonde highlights of my head. It looks like I have a black motorcycle helmet on my head and the rest of my hair with blonde highlights! AWFUL! I look like Mona Lisa. Then, she put a toner all over my hair and she left it for 15 minutes, she damaged my hair and charged me $90. I do a better job than her, I buy the root re-touch at Target and it costs me $7. I told her that I didn't like it and she ignored me because she was talking to her employees in her language, which is very rude to talk another language loud in front of customers and ignore them. Unfortunately, Amy is a gold digger, never apologized to me, and charged me $90. I’m sure she did the BLACK color on all my head because she wanted me to come back next month to get the highlights again and charge me another $200. Also, she was insisting me to have a Keratin treatment done for $250 right after she finished doing the root color, which it would’ve been worse for my hair. I’ve had the Keratin done many times before and my former Hairstylist always asked me to wait at least a month after the root color or highlights was done. Well, Amy you lost an excellent...

Read moreMy mother wanted a caramel balayage hair color. Instead, she got bleached out to look like an orange tabby cat! The color was nothing like the photo. The salon owner told her "that the color will grow on her". She then preceded to make up reasons on to why her hair did not lighten "correctly" placing the blame on my mother. Worst of all, the salon owner had my mother pay the full price of $150 for this mess. Avoid this place like the plague! I went to Sally's Beauty Salon across the street to get help from the employees who were so confused since this was supposed to be salon quality hair. They seem to have more knowledge then the women working...
