I’ve been here three times, and while the food has always been great, today’s experience was so unbelievably bad that I don’t know if I’ll ever be back. The service was beyond unprofessional and honestly embarrassing for a restaurant.

We were seated right away, which was great, and my coffee came out immediately—but the hot vanilla latte we ordered? That took 15 minutes, and not a single person bothered to check on us. When I finally flagged someone down, I mentioned we had been waiting way too long, and two minutes later, they bring out an iced latte—completely wrong. After correcting them, they finally bring out a BOILING HOT latte that was undrinkable. At that point, I already knew this was going to be a disaster.

After all that, we were just trying to get through the meal, but even placing our food order took forever. The reason? Because our waitress and her boyfriend (another employee) were too busy flirting and touching each other to notice that they had customers waiting to be served. To make things even worse, a couple of their friends walked in 15 minutes after us, and somehow, they got their drinks AND food within minutes, while we were still sitting there, waiting just to put in our order. That was when it became painfully obvious that we weren’t just dealing with bad service—we were being flat-out ignored in favor of their friends.

By the time we were finally done eating, we just wanted to leave, but even that turned into another frustrating delay. It took another 20 minutes just to get our check and boxes, because, once again, the waitress was too focused on her personal life to do her job.

This wasn’t just lazy service—it was blatant disrespect toward paying customers. I had picked up on the fact that these two employees were dating from the first time I came in, but I didn’t care—until now, when their immaturity and complete lack of professionalism made my experience a joke. If they want to act like they’re on a date instead of working, they shouldn’t be on the clock.

It’s honestly disgraceful for a restaurant to have employees like this. Management needs to step in immediately, or they’ll keep losing customers. I won’t be returning unless something...

Have you ever wondered what would have happened if Goldilocks stopped at a family-owned restaurant before wandering into the three bears' house? Well, let me take you on a journey to a place where everything is "just right."

Do you remember the last time you walked into a restaurant and immediately felt like you belonged? Where the waitstaff greeted you with genuine warmth and attentiveness, making you feel like a valued customer?

This restaurant, a family dream come true, is not just any ordinary place to eat. It embodies the heart and soul of small businesses, which are the backbone of America. Friendly and helpful service is one of the most important factors in anyone's dining experience. A place where the waitstaff made me feel at home.

And not only does it offer traditional American cuisine, but it also has a touch of South of the Border flavors. With their mouth-watering dishes and affordable prices, this hidden gem is a must-visit for anyone craving a hearty meal. From their delicious and well-prepared food to their quick delivery and attentive waitstaff, prepare to be wowed by this hidden gem. Not to mention, there are plenty of gluten-free options, too.

So why not try this restaurant, and discover this family-owned business and why it should have been...

While the atmosphere and server were both nice. The food was mediocre. Maybe the cooks just don't care or the owner doesn't care about how the make the food. I got the carne breakfast plate. The meat was alright, but thin and didn't really resemble carne. I asked for over medium eggs and got just barley over easy. Hashbrowns were dark brown on the outside and warm on the inside. Not hot. Also everything wasn't seasoned. Had to add salt and pepper to everything just to get some flavor. And idk what this frijoles is but it has hot dogs in it. I'm sorry but 🤮. I'm sorry but I don't think most people want hot dogs in a, what resembles a stew. Unless your from the sticks backwoods redneck. But for a Mexican style breakfast. Not very good. Again server and atmosphere was good. Food was...

This is a great breakfast and brunch stop here in Reno. We were staying nearby and decided to have breakfast before heading out of town and I looked to Yelp to find me a good spot nearby. I was pleasantly surprised and glad we found this place and on a Friday morning it wasn't too full and we got a table right away. The menu is great and they have good prices for what you receive. Hubby got the chorizo breakfast burrito and took 1/2 home for later. I chose the traditional breakfast with eggs, sausage hash browns, and toast. Waitresses and staff were on it here and they were pretty busy but our lady kept coming around to make sure all ok and got us a box when she left the bill.

This place is awesome! I was always scared to get steak n eggs at a cafe breakfast spot, because it's always tuff and cooked wrong, but I have to tell you this, it was super good here! medium rare cooked perfect! Soft and tasty. Customer service is at 💯 and the condiments are not the cheap kind. Coffee was fresh and has a good taste! Good was delicious!!! I definitely recommend this place to everyone! Driving from San Jose, CA and end up eating breakfast here at this spot in Reno was a great choice! Oh, food was not expensive at all. Thank you so much!!!

First time visit today. The interior is spacious and tidy. It wasn't crowded so there was very little noise. Service was very good. The server was polite and efficient. The wife ordered a senior one egg breakfast while I had the corned beef hash special. The senior breakfast was good but the hash browns were very oily. The corned beef hash was straight out of the can. This kind of hash can be okay but mine was luke warm. If it had a crust it might have been better. The rest of the menu looks interesting so Arnie's does deserve another try.
