First visit last Monday. Typical bar and grill. The only concern was that there are only high top tables inside. The regular tables on in the outdoor patio. The wife and I ordered breakfast. She had the Buenos Benedict and I had the chili omelette. She reported that her food was delicious and really appreciated the thinly sliced potatoes hash browns. The chili omelette was very good. It could have used a little more onions. The server was excellent. Nothing makes a restaurant experience better than a very good server.

Across the street from the Peppermill. Great service. Looks like a couple who own and work it too. They’re on top of it with tables cleared quickly. Nice people. Food is delicious. My son loved the pork chop breakfast. Pancakes were great for $9.50. Taxes included in price, so $9.50 is $9.50. About 25%-ish cheaper than Cafe Milanos in the Peppermill for similar dishes with their own specialties.

Walked in today. No one said hello or welcome. One lady looked and put her head down. We waited for someone to acknowledge us, but no one never said anything. They were just at the bar helping two customers that was it really wasn't helping them. It was just talking so then we decided we was not gonna eat there because nobody acknowledges us. I came over to us as we was walking out one of the workers that was behind the bar said thank you for coming. But I was confused because you never acknowledged us when we walked through the door or came to the table to see if we need anything so I felt like because we were African-Americans and they just didn't want service and that's not how it was supposed to be. I also feel like if you cannot work in a facility where all races come in then maybe you need to get a stay at home job I was very...

TLDR: Waitresses were fantastic. Food was fresh & tasty. Outdoor seating & Dog friendly. Will visit again. Breakfast was delicious. I had the French Toast sandwich, not a sandwich but French Toast with sausage, bacon, and 2 eggs. The waitresses are extremely friendly and happy to allow for substitutions (I only wanted 1 meat & potatoes instead & the waitress was very accommodating). I added strawberries and blueberries for an additional fee & was not disappointed. Food was very fresh, hot, and my over medium eggs were perfectly prepared. Portions were & pricing was decent. We finally decided to try this place out and were pleased. The food was good. The chicken fried steak was a surprise. It was tasty, but was more like a breaded burger than the normal tough steak. My partner had the huevos rancheros and said it's some of the best he's had in Reno. We are from S Texas where both of these dishes are staples. We'll definitely be back. I'm looking forward to trying their fish & chips, but we were both in a Texas food kind of mood.
