Nevada Taco Grill — Restaurant in Reno

We all know a moment as Americans we describe our favorite international food experiences to friends only to meet a wall of despair once we discover our American renditions of their old world favorites are simply inappropriate portraits of an authentic past that never existed....

Well. I sent pictures of the Chile Relleno platter here to all my Mexican friends. My friends that speak Mayan. My white friends out east who hate Mexican restaraunts north of the border.

And each of them told me they were either proud of me or jealous of me being here at Nevada Taco Grill.

I was given an amazing plate of beautifully prepared food, where the music in the restsraunt only came from over my shoulder from one direction. From where it matters most for the where cooks and their tools jamming all the classics in the kitchen.

Ill be back here every time on I'm local. And will always order...

This was my first time visiting this restaurant. I am from the Los Angeles area, so I am familiar with Mexican food. I did not know what to expect, and I did not have high expectations. We ordered rolled taquitos, al pastor street tacos, and hard-shell chicken tacos. Fortunately, everything tasted delicious, and there were no complaints about the food at all. They have a salsa bar with different sauces and sides of your choice to accompany your meal. The service was satisfactory; they were busy, so we did not expect anything exceptional. The atmosphere was pleasant, although it was a bit quiet. Some background music would have been ideal. If you are looking for a quick bite of Mexican food, I recommend stopping by here. My wife and I, went there a few weeks ago and it was lightly raining outside at the time. When we walked in we noticed the side door was open and it was very cold inside. We ordered our food and felt like we had to eat faster than normal because our food was getting cold because of the door being open. We gave it another chance today and as soon as we walked in we noticed again how cold it was and sure enough the door was propped open. We didn't even order any food and walked back out only to go to a pizza restaurant and spend 60.00$. We love the food and live locally but it's too bad we had to take our money elsewhere. Please shut the door in the dining...
