Country Creamery — Restaurant in Reno

We had the opportunity to check out the new Country Creamery in the RED. I was shocked at how differently the ice cream tasted compared to the other chain shops in the area. The ice cream was noticeably creamier than the others - my kids even noticed it too. Tonight we tried cookies & cream and apple crisp; one of their first, and current, seasonal flavors. Very excited this new local place is open. There’s a good variety of flavors, but not so many that it’s overwhelming. The ice cream was rich and creamy and my daughter’s sorbet was intensely flavorful. The waffle cone is to die for! Prices were comparable to other places in town. I sampled three flavors and settled on the Brûlée Banana Nutella. Utterly sensational. I highly recommend this flavor. Based on the samples, the campfire s’mores and cheesecake flavors were also great.
