Filthy Mcnasty's Irish Bar — Restaurant in Reno

Meh, not great, definitely not bad.

Biggest complaint was limited tap beer. Served flat Guinness from tap, seems they sell G in cans which is odd to me.

Colorful place, amusing decorations. Bartender was good guy.

I was there at a time with only 2 other persons in the bar.

Overall seems more focus on kitsch vs actual Irish bar. Guinness in can, really?

1/26/23 - Following up to business owner's response to my review, regarding flat Guinness- You are correct, no flat Guinness as I was informed there is no "beer gas", so no Guinness.

So in spite of the claims on upgraded systems, seems the beer systems are not a focus of the pub. I know kind of cliché asking for Guinness and Bass ale in an Irish (themed) pub, but those are pretty standard. Certainly Guinness. Seems more of a hard liquor bar, whiskey perhaps.

Definitely local bar given the crew that was staring at me.

Lady tending the bar was super sweet, would be fun to chat with. Would be a good place to hang out with some friends and get a serious swerve on, but not if you are a tap...

To say this is the friendliest, happiest, and has the best food truck I town would be an insult on the McNasty name! Not only do they have the world famous Bloody Mary by bubba, the #1 burgers by Barrio burger, and the absolutely best bar owner in the world, they have the friendliest regulars, and new comers you can meet. Any given day you will meet someone from another part of the world who came to filthys because of its outstanding reputation. Want a fun night and loud music, come on in. Want to play some of the best pool players in the state, come on in. Want to bring your four legged friend with you? COME ON IN! So do yourself a favor, come on down and join the mcnasty family! Had a great time with cool people. There is NO COMPS AT THIS BAR. I paid for every drink. The new bartender after shift change tried to charge me for drinks I already paid for. The guy working on 10/6, which I over tipped,he told me "whatever man" when I tried to tell him I already paid. I was embarrassed and mad. He said he can't keep track of his bar. I gave a very good tip to him and to the the girl before him, but he was a jerk. I was forced to overpay to a guy who did not give me a...
