I am a Doordash driver. My customer's order was TEN MINUTES LATE because the staff here DO NOT DO THEIR JOBS
I arrived at the store, and spoke to TWO separate staff members, to ask for my customer's order. I then waited at the counter marked "delivery", the place DESIGNATED for delivery orders. I waited, and waited, pacing back and forth, in view the entire time. Ten minutes later, the manager asked if I was there for an order: yes I was, OBVIOUSLY, and I had already spoken to them and another staff member! They KNEW I was there, and they KNEW what order I was waiting for; there were no other delivery people there, just me. They then brought out the order; it had been SITTING THERE, ALREADY READY, literally 5 feet away, on a back counter JUST OUT OF VIEW. They finished the order and DIDN'T TELL ME, DIDN'T BRING IT TO THE COUNTER, THEY DIDN'T CARE.
When in-store customers had THEIR orders finished, they CALLED OUT the number, MULTIPLE TIMES, brought it TO THE COUNTER, and, you know, actually did their jobs. For delivery, apparently if you don't ask at the EXACT MOMENT IT'S READY, they don't have the mental capacity to remember that you're there or waiting for an order.
The manager then told me they get "busy" and "distracted", and that I must INSIST on my order. "Insist", their exact word. In all my years of working with customer service, I was under the impression that asking for your order repeatedly was rude, impatient, and frankly disrespectful/untrusting of staff; at this location, you must INSIST on your order, constantly, because the staff and manager are too stupid to give you your order otherwise. They have the memory of goldfish: they must CONSTANTLY be reminded to do their jobs otherwise they won't do their jobs.
I would personally "insist" that you don't go to this location unless you want staff that are so incompetent they could be considered...

Then after they walked away the kiosk still had there order up not completed . I backed out of their order and spent 10 minutes putting my order in. Then when I was trying to pay it asked for a number for table delivery That the numbers would be on the side of the kiosk. Well no numbers on either kiosk. Now I backed out . And got inline at the register . Another 10 minutes. One register open. A second employee came and opened the second register and I was next. The employee could not get it open. Now I'm back in line for the other register. This employee as the second employee seemed to be new . I asked what chicken sandwiches they had he told me there over there pointing to the overhead menu . So at the far end of the counter above my head about 15 ft. Away I saw 2 chicken sandwiches . I said give me the top one. Not the one I really wanted but was tired of all the time and thevundertrained employees And the kiosk . I don't use the drive thru anymore as the long wait from wrong orders at the window and the employees trying to fix them holding up everyone in line. And the odds they got my order wrong.
