Mountain Mike's Pizza — Restaurant in Reno

UPDATE - mt. mike's made it right - remedied very satisfactorily - great food, great people!

i'm giving it 2 stars only because their pizza is always great - this time decided to order wings to go with it. big mistake - 12 pieces for $18 - and some of the smallest wings i have ever ordered! the clincher - out of the 12 pieces 1 was a wing tip - yep, literally a wing tip - and 1 piece was a single piece of bone with a shred of meat on it (you can see the picture on yelp). called as soon as i opened the box and spoke with the shift manager - she said they would redo the order but told her i didn't want to back up there to get it right now - would be in tomorrow. called back a couple hours later and said i want to come pick the wings tonight. when i went it and spoke with the very young manager - and yes age/experience does come into play especially when you're a shift manager - i showed her the wing tip and bone i had brought with me in a zip lock bag. she simply nodded her head. offered no apology for the order or fot the inconvenience of having to come back for the new order (again very small wings) - she just kinda looked at me. when the person delivered the wings i asked to speak to the manager again - gave her the baggie with the pieces in it "in case you want to discuss it with someone" (she had a blank look on her face) and told her i really expected some kind of apology - anything, just comment! once again she said nothing and just...

If I could leave zero stars, I would. This place has the absolute WORST customer service. We ordered $80 worth of pizza & wings at 5:20pm tonight, with a delivery time of 6:08pm. We only live 10 minutes away from the store. We called at 6:20pm to check the status of delivery, as it had still not arrived. They told us the driver left 40 minutes prior to that call and should arrive any minute. We called again at 6:35pm when it still had not arrived and asked to speak to the manager. My husband didn’t get the manager’s name, but she was rude and argued with him for several minutes when he expressed upset that our pizza was riding around in the delivery car for almost an hour at that point, and more importantly was already 30 minutes later than was promised. He asked what she could do to make it right and she said NOTHING, as in, she didn’t even respond to his question. He asked again and she said there was nothing she was willing to do and that she can’t control the “traffic”. Her ONLY concern was asking who told us the driver had left 40 minutes prior when we called the first time. I wouldn’t be surprised if she told him to conceal that information from customers in the future. Our pizza finally arrived at 6:45pm. Ate here: 7/14/23 @ 4:36p How refreshing! A wonderful experience! So far this is the best pizza experience in Reno and I've had a lot of pizza around here. Exceptional service from a wonderful young lady. She was very friendly and knowledgeable, very helpful, and very patient. She greeted us with a smile. The pizza was delicious! Great fresh tasting crust, supple toppings, and a great flavor. To top it off, we were able to use our welcome to the neighborhood coupon, so our meal was free! We had the Sizzlin Bacon Classic, which was great!! The restaurant was very clean, refreshingly cool inside, and although we have not tried the salad bar, it looked great with many toppings, and the customer service employee was constantly refreshing, rotating, and replacing the salad items to keep it fresh for guests.
