Paolo’s Deli — Restaurant in Reno

I am backkkkk with another BOMB sandwich spot. Seriously, I didn't even notice this spot until my lady pointed it out. I figured I'd give it a shot. I am so happy I did.

The customer service was good. There's only one guy in there working but he's working hard. The inside is super clean. Definitely taken care of.

The vibes are very much sandwich spot. It's pretty small inside so there is seating outside. It is cozy.

Now for my sandwich.! I got the Italian Stallion. I removed the red peppers and tomatoes, as we know I am picky. The lettuce, the meats, and the pepperoncinis tho were soooooooo great. The flavors were perfect for my taste buds. Ahhh the bread was my favorite part. If I could have a loaf to take home and eat by myself, that's exactly what I would do.

Overall, it's a must try. I will for sure be back for another sandwich. The first one was so good I am going to need to try something...

I will forever be grateful to the family that owns Paolo's. My Stepfather was dying and for his final birthday dinner he wanted lasagna (as a proud Italian American I wouldn't have expected less); however, this request came with less than 8 hours to plan. After being turned down a few times by other restaurants with the request to make our family an entire lasagna, the owner of Paolo's kindly accepted and said that they would be honored to make it. When I picked up the meal; I was greeted with hugs from the family and they let me cry in their arms. This is a magical group of people who also cook delicious and thoughtful food. I will never forget this act of kindness. It meant the world to my family; it was the last meal we all ate together.

I'm always on the hunt for good food everywhere I go. Today, we decided to try Paolo's Deli.

It's a small little sandwich spot, but our first experience was awesome.

The ingredient quality is fantastic, the care put into building each sandwich is fantastic, and the customer service was very compassionate.

I have a feeling we may eat here every month if not every week when we have our next sandwich craving.

We also ordered the minestrone / vegetable soup. Also very solid. Everything tastes homemade.. and that's the best and highest quality food you can experience.

Their food is absolutely made with passion and love.

I'll be referring everyone in town to this spot for sandwiches. 👍🏼
