I've chose not to waste my time and leave Sonic on Virginia St. in Reno Nv. a review but after the 4th horrible unacceptable experience at this establishment I'm going to take that time and leave that review. I've placed 3 orders online, I went and picked up my orders, and each time items were missing. Once, a milkshake, they did not tell me they were out of ice cream, they just gave me my order. I said "I'm missing a milkshake". She said were out of ice cream. I paid for it and they charge me for it, are out of it and just keep my money, and say nothing. Why wouldn't you tell me your out when pick up my order? Why would you still charge me? I told them that you need to refund my money if you dont have it. The manager told me to call to get a refund and to "GET OUT OF HIS DRIVETHRU"!! Wow. After not going back for several months, Today I place another order online, I pick up my food, again, I'm missing a hamburger, I tell her and she said it's not in your bag? I say no and show her the bag. She said hold on, then comes back and tells me oh, were out of hamburgers. Ok, you gave me my food, why didn't you tell me? Why did you charge me for it? I also got a strawberry shake and paid for extra strawberry in it. She gave me a vanilla shake, no strawberry at all. I paid extra for vanilla???? Do you not realize people are paying you for service/for food?! It wasnt like they made a mistake and fave me the wrong food, they just blatantly charged me for something they did not have and didnt tell me, just kept my money. Not once, but twice. ...
Read morewaited for what seemed like an hour but i think it was more like 45 mins that is after i tried to go to the"stalls"but those were for mobile orders only. I dont mind waiting in the "stalls" but the whole sitting wasting fuel bugs me but i did both waste fuel and wait in the dreaded drive thru.
The order taker was nice enough and it is not her fault everyone is filing through to get food. Bottom line is they need to open the "stalls" and while i'm on things that could be changed..stalls could be changed to something not bathroom or animal related. This would be more eater friendly.
Anyway i get my order and the tator tots were served cold and nasty and what ever size you order you will get the next size down i ordered a med. and got a small-something i recall from previous trips there, i ate 4-5 , gave up and went to try and get my taste buds to forget what i just fed them with some onion rings, they were hot but i frankly didnt care.
One would think for the length of time it took i would have been in store for the full serving of what was ordered and it would be piping hot fresh out of the grease. Wrong.
But i guess when you are moving people through like they do sonic is not really worried about people not getting what they want , i mean what are are you gonna do? wait in line...
Read moreAmazing customer service. Yeah there can be a little bit of a wait at this location, but the customer service I received was some of the best I have in a very long time. Especially by the younger kids! I came at 4:36pm on a Monday. I tried to order through the app and saw the location wasn’t taking mobile orders. I looked at the time and figured “oh it’s happy hour I wouldn’t take mobile orders either, that’s just asking for a mad house!” However when I arrived it WASN’T happy hour. They weren’t sure why the app didn’t work. (It wasn’t rude or anything it was a pleasant exchange.) I had said oh ok I’m gonna order on the app and go to the other location to get the discount. While waiting, the attendant came back on. He said he spoke to the manager and they were going to still give me the drinks half off! It was so nice because I didn’t even think to ask or anything. The person too it upon themselves to go above and beyond in a still very busy time. It was nice they saved me the time while still gaining the sell for their location as well. We only waited about 15 minutes in total even though the line was out into the road when we got there! Not bad. Everything was...
