Sushi Boba Pho Cafe Hong Kong Diner — Restaurant in Reno

I've spent many nights on FaceTime with my bff while she enjoyed the Asian style chicken wings from the local restaurant in her town. She raves about them, it her absolute favorite; sadly I had not yet experienced the food joy which I didn't know I was about to partake in. I could take it no longer, I needed to see what all the hype was about! I pulled up DoorDash at 9:45pm with slight dread, assuming that due to it being a Wed night most places would be closed. To my delight I discovered this restaurant, which most graciously serves until late, and sure enough they had the same type of chicken wings my bff I had only been able to observe of enjoying up until tonight. Once my eagerly anticipated Fried Chicken Wings arrived, I quickly dug in... it was unlike any other wing I had tasted. A perfect amount of saltiness in the batter; it reminded me of a deep golden crispy tempura, this time encompassing a beloved chicken wing. I put the Spicy Crispy Wings on a show for my bff, this time the turns were tabled and I got to experience chicken wing bliss while lived vicariously through me on the other side of the screen. She exclaimed, "Their vegetables are way bigger than the place I order from!" And it was true-- the onions, green onions, jalapeños were still finger food sized yet were enough to pile heartily onto the wing and savor each element of flavor coming together. Here's what I can say to sum up my first time eating Asian style wings: I don't think I can go back to bar & grill type chicken wings ever again! I have been delivering from and coming to this restaurant for over a year now and honestly, it is one of my favorite places to eat in town. They have a wide selection to choose from, from Chinese to Vietnamese to Boba, and now SUSHI! Their food is always consistent, hot and fresh, and always sooo delicious.

You looking for great Pho? They have it.

Good Chinese? They have that too.

I'm not a big fan of Boba, never have been, but theirs isn't too bad. I particularly like the mocha flavor that they serve if I had to give a recommendation 😏

For their sushi, not to shabby my friends. While they don't have an all you can eat, they do have a really well priced lunch and dinner combo that allows you to get a wide selection of appetizers, long rolls, nagiri and others to appease your appetite. All for around the same price as what you can get for an all you can wat at other restaurants.

I'm honestly waiting for what they do next. Maybe...a Korean BBQ? Or something else that is just as delicous??

The staff is absolutely wonderful, so much so that when I come in now, they just bring me my hot tea (jasmine green tea nomnom ❤) without having to ask for it. They're super friendly but also very busy. I would say to expect to spend at least an hour there ordering, waiting, and then eating, but it never actually feels like your there for that long.

Me and my friend have been eating here for years, and it never disappoints. I really love the hot and sour soup. That's all I eat these days, but it's truly delicious. I also love the spicy tuna hand roll. The spice is really nice, and it's the right amount. There's also that wor wonton soup with grilled chicken that's delicious. I like that everything is fresh and made to order. My friend loves the combination plate: the szechuan beef, the beef and broccoli, and the chow mein. That's what he gets most of the time. Sometimes he'll switch up and get the szechuan shrimp special with the steamed rice, or even the szechuan chicken with the steamed rice. There are so many great choices. No wonder this place is so popular. I remember when this place was very small and look at it now...it has successfully expanded.
