I recently visited the Draft House at the airport, and my experience with the bartender was extremely frustrating. I ordered a Bees Knees cocktail, which was advertised on the promo sign right outside the restaurant. To my surprise, the bartender claimed they didn’t offer that drink. When I pointed out that Gunpowder Gin (a key ingredient) was sitting on the shelf behind her, she insisted they didn’t carry it.
After finally finding the bottle and the recipe (despite the Bees Knees being a simple and well-known cocktail), her attitude shifted, and she became visibly irritated with me for insisting on what was clearly advertised.
This level of unprofessionalism, lack of product knowledge, and poor customer service left a bad taste in my mouth—literally and figuratively. A restaurant that advertises cocktails should at least have bartenders who know their own menu and how to make basic drinks without frustration. Very...
