This is long but worth the read if you care at all about good customer service and respect.
I walked in and was not greeted, just a “what can I get you” so I said how are you doing? The line worker hit her hands on the line rolled her eyes and said again “what can I get for you” pretty rudely. So I was so in shock I just continued with my order. She was rushing so much she wasn’t listening to me when I asked for the Meat on the side. Put the meat in my bowl after asking for it on the side and then scooped it off and put it back in to the container! Tried to get her to explain the difference between the Plant based options she didn’t care to tell me. She was so rude she made me so uncomfortable, I just said never mind I don't even want the food anymore. I asked her what her name was she would not tell me. So I asked for the manager, Sadie came up to speak with me. I had to ask multiple times to get both their names from her. The Manager said her name was Sadie and she told me the Employee on the line was named Pass. I even asked the spelling she said yes.
I am a store manager of a near by business. The lack of care and customer service was so bad it made me loose my appetite and I had to walk out. I would really like to make sure this team is coached on customer service and how to speak to people.
I contacted corporate, was told the district manager would reach out to me and they never did, I don’t want anything but to be told this team would be coached and how to grow from their bad service. It Really shows how much they care about their customers.
I have been in customers service for over 20 years. I thrive off customer service and how much I know no matter what type of day you’re having if you just focus on the customers and having good interactions, it’ll make your whole day turn around. They should not have this employee as the face of the store talking to customers if she can’t be respectful and make sure people don’t feel like they are such an inconvenience to her. That’s exactly how she made me feel. There was also maybe 2 people behind me so it’s not like it was so busy there was no time to be a decent human being. She chose rudeness over kindness and that’s not okay from a business...
Read moreIve ordered from this location about 5-6 times. When dining in, it’s fine (you can see exactly what the staff is doing, so it would be easy to see if there are any errors). But these days when takeout is a necessary method of eating out, this is the worst experience I’ve had — THREE times.
The last straw, placed an order for delivery — my first qualm — chipotle makes it look like they deliver their own food. I am not a fan of supporting gig workers, and will hands down support a business who is delivering their own food. Instead, AFTER we placed our order, were notified that it was thru a third party.
Our order was very simple: two burrito bowls - one Barbacoa with typical various goodies plus guacamole. One steak bowl with DOUBLE meat and typical various goodies. Plus a kids quesadilla (apparently they took regular quesadillas off the menu since we last ordered maybe a month prior?) which was supposed to come with chips.
We received: barbacoa bowl missing the requested salsa and sour cream. Steak bowl with NO steak. A 4” tortilla with a bunch of shredded cheese ON THE SIDE, no chips.
I looked at the receipt — the order on the receipt reflected what we ordered (via app, mind you, so it’s not like a human heard it wrong), but the food was far from correct. Being that this was the third time they’d screwed up our order, and both of us having worked in the restaurant business, we called and asked to speak to a manager.
What we got was clearly a supervisor on his first day. He was friendly enough and it was a friendly conversation, but I did make it clear we were not happy and had had bad experiences in the past. We had both been looking forward to chipotle all day (we rarely eat out and had planned in the morning to eat there that evening). You know that feeling, when your meal is ruined...
Zero customer service was given in the end, and we finally just got them to refund our money. The supervisor even said he had no idea what was the deal with the pile of unmelted cheese on the side with a tortilla. I will never again order from chipotle. The hype is gone, for sure. They used to be a great...
Read moreHonestly, I rarely leave reviews because I can understand when people have a bad day. Today I went to this location and the second I came in I was yelled at across the restaurant to put a mask on, which is understandable because of the mandate and I forgot to put one on. My boyfriend didn’t have one so he kept his distance in the back of the restaurant away from everyone. One woman making the food proceeded to yell at him across the restaurant while it was busy to put a mask on being extremely rude. He didn’t know someone was yelling at him but she proceeded to have a gross attitude about it and scream. Then she had to have someone walk up to him and tell him to put one on and when he asked for a mask they said no, and that he needed to leave. I completely understand the mask mandate, But instead of yelling across the store in-front of everyone and making a scene, she could have went to him quietly in the first place. Also she was being rude to a customer to wear their mask properly but half of the staff were not wearing theirs properly. You could hear this employee from across the restaurant. When she helped me with my order she was just extremely rude to everyone and talking down to everyone. Very unprofessional. As someone who is a manager in the food industry I have never seen someone act like that. I felt like I was being treated like a child. Wouldn’t recommend this place and I feel bad for the other employees who get treated that...
