You pretty much get lackluster service here. You get your food but not with a smile. Nor do you get it particularly quick sometimes. Not to mention the fact that Jack in the box food has gone south in quality. I pretty much now only eat one sandwich and it's for breakfast from them. Even their shakes which used to be fantastic, are less than stellar. They've reduced the amount of flavoring in them to the point that you might as well be eating a vanilla milkshake.
I made a second visit here on March 1st, 2022. At that time we received extremely rude service from the person at the drive-thru. When we asked to speak to the manager, we were told there isn't a manager on duty. We asked them to speak to the supervisor on duty and they told us there wasn't a supervisor on duty. I find that very hard to believe as I do believe the policy is there must be a supervisor on duty every shift. The response we got from them was both vulgar and unprofessional. We then also listen to them making disparaging remarks about us to customers that were in line ahead of us. We know all of this because we called in on the phone trying to talk to a manager and we're told that there was no manager there and that they we were talking to the same person that was at the window. They then made a disparaging remark about us, set the phone down, and continued with their tirade about how they were so scared about us talking to their manager. They left the phone off the hook so we could listen to them where they continued to talk trash for 22 minutes. Well listening to them, I submitted a contact form to Jack in The box where I will be glad to speak to one of their representatives when they contact me. At this point, I would recommend you avoid this particular Jack in the box as they have extremely rude employees who are willing to treat you in any manner they feel appropriate including calling you names behind your back. Read moreThe manager of the Renton, WA Sunset Blvd store tonight refused to serve us our order because allegedly, our food was not showing up in their system. She told us to call Juan, who I'm assuming is the district manager. He verified that our food was ordered and paid for after sending him our order confirmation and also verifying my food was paid for with doordash.
Both doordash and the district manager tried to call and verify that my order was processed and that it should be prepared. Doordash tried to call them, and they refused to answer the phone. Then the district manager called and they answered and he told them to make our food.
The manager at the store refused still to make our food. Then she started intentionally moving slowly and carelessly, acting as if she was not going to make our food. Then she started to taunt us and say that we were getting free food and wanted to argue with us about our order. Even though she was contacted by the district manager and told to honor our order by the exact person she told us to contact. So naturally, that should have been the end of it.
When we verified to her that we were not getting free food and that her manager that she told us to call, herself, said to make the food. She started to make the order after 10 minutes and still intentionally got the order wrong. After making our order wrong, the manager still didn't want to correct the order once we told her that items were missing and made the food. She continued to say that we were getting free food and making smart remarks, being sarcastic and scoffing at us.
By the time I got my whole order, my food was cold, and i had to warm up my order. Also, my food was made very sloppy as if someone with an attitude made it. This has been the worst experience I've ever had at Jack in the box as a paying customer. Especially in this economy and the cost of food we are currently dealing...
Read moreThis place sucks & I rarely use this word. This is the only Jack in the crack as we use to call it in my area on the way home from work. I have a 12 year old who is very picky but all of a sudden like these fake meat 🌮. I sat in line for almost 15 minutes, ordered given my total just to get to the window and get told they only have the "super Taco's not the regular ones,so I'm like okay well good customer service will give you what they have (since my order was taken & confirmed) but I was told by the person in charge they could not do that. I proceeded to tell him I've sat in line for a while & he replied "only 4 minutes" which was not true but really, not good customer service fast food or not. I just drove off but my thing is there is always some ghetto unprofessional service at this place, rather it's One person working the grill and cashiering, someone that can't speak english but she's trying because she usually is a cook & she did do a great job. Kudos to her. Closing early,,no staff,grill not working ...smh running out of items like tonight..wow. Of course we're not rating A five star restaurant but customer service and professionalism matter no matter what the job or business is. This is my first rating post but just the way that the manager,lead person in charge, whatever position he held on 9/25/18 @ around 8:30 pm sucked & very ill mannered.They just need to shut this spot down, it doesn't seem like they can keep adequate staff anyway.
