I've been here twice, once with friends who paid, and this time when I footed the bill. On both occasions the bill was incorrect with random upcharges. On this occasion, I come as a group of three. It's Saturday, but before I can even sit down I'm being told there's a 5 dollar cover fee per person to enter this BYOB establishment. Okay, no big deal. It's packed, there's no room for seating, so they scrounge together folding chairs for a makeshift setting area for us. We're neglected for 30 minutes, until finally a server comes over to us and brings us menus, charges me for the cover fee (5 per person; so 15 for the group). We order, she advertises us hot wings, which aren't on the menu, 12 for 9.99. Okay, we go with it. Who knows what the *actual* price of that was, but sure. Hookah and food comes. Immediately we notice there are only EIGHT wings in that basket. Scam #1. We wait another 20 minutes for the additional four wings we ordered. From there, we have a nice time. I drink the alcohol plus the mixers we brought. No problems. We only speak to our server, because none of the other servers are interested in us. Our coals are changed ONCE in the time we're there, despite everyone around us being changed frequently/as need. We have a good time. After being there for 4 hours and finishing our drinking, the manager walks by our table and notices our mixers, which we brought from home and tells one of my party members "You cannot bring your own mixers, so I'm going to have to charge you for bringing your own." Scam #2. He adds them to our bill and some random server (not our server) brings us additional sodas. I refuse them, and send them back. Two minutes later, another random server comes out with the same sodas, again I refuse them a second time., because (A.) I'm already done drinking for the night, (B.) I'm not paying for something I brought from home to drink myself. (C.) You cannot make buy something I didn't request NOR want and (D) It was an honest mistake, I didn't know I couldn't bring my own mixer. No matter, I'm ready to go anyway. I flag down MY server say I'm ready for the check; and third RANDOM server brings the check and hands it to my friend - nevermind everything ordered was ordered from MY mouth and given directly to my original server. --- The one time I spoke to another server/"manager" before the mixers comment was when my coals were changed 3 hours into my stay, despite the fact everyone else around us had their goals changed regularly. The check has another 15 dollar charge on it for a "BYOB fee" PLUS 20% gratuity fee on top of everything we ordered. Scams numbers#3 and #4. I ask the server what this BYOB fee is, thinking I must be bring charged for cover fee twice and this gratuity fee, which I was told is only supposed for groups of five or more. They go and get the manager, who created our check. The manager doesn't address the gratuity fee, and says the BYOB fee is in fact not the cover fee. It actually is: "When you go to a bar they charge you for the liquor, and as per state law (they're) not allowed to serve alcohol after 1:30 AM. So per the law, (they're) supposed to take away (our) liquor. So the BYOB fee is really two favors for (us)." Bottom line: You're paying (1) To walk in and sit on their couch (2) to drink your own damn liquor -- or paying 5 dollars per red solo cup, however you see it, and (3) to pay an A+ tip on C+ customer service. ***No tea/shade to our server, who was great and apologized on behalf of the poor money gouging management. Don't waste your time trying to get your bill fixed, because you won't. Go somewhere else. Half of these other reviews mention their trumped bills and random charges. It's not a new thing. It's called scam, fraudulency, nickling and diming, poor customer service, and lack of management. Or in short: "The Casanova Experience". Won't be back!

Casanova Hookah Lounge in Richardson is the best hookah spot I have ever been to. The vibe is always perfect with amazing music, warm lighting, and a relaxing atmosphere. Their green tea with mint is incredible and easily the best you will ever drink while having a relaxing smoke. The couches are extremely comfortable, and the hospitality is unmatched. Everyone here makes you feel welcome and at home. Whether you are winding down after a long day or spending time with friends and family, Casanova is the place to be. I recommend it to everyone who wants to relax, enjoy great music, and feel completely comfortable.

I've been here several times and the service is prompt, friendly and top notch. You don't have to wait for coals or to get a hold of someone. Prices are great and the music is enjoyable instead of bursting your ears. Easy to have a conversation while just relaxing, hanging out or getting work done. Management is very friendly and professional. Great spot to spend an afternoon working on things or an evening hanging out. You can appreciate the personal service here.

Owner sent his employee over to tell us after 10 we charge $5 per person since they have a dj we noticed that he didnt go to any other table in the establishment we said if we are already here why would we have to pay a cover charge to get in a place we already were. My wife went straight to yelp and the owner went to read it, he didnt like it and decided to ask us to leave all because of her review not come and ask how could he help change our experience or better explain how things work at his place of business so as he continued he began to get rude I turned on my camera and and the 1st thing he asked was are you recording me, "WE ARE NOT RACIST" that was the 1st thing out his mouth, none of us used the term racist so we looked around and after he said that we looked and we were the only black people there so we asked why did you not ask anyone else? they had no answer he went to the back and he came out with a huge charge of $103 and some odd change the bill should not have been over $30 dollars. Terrible business with an ill educated owner of how to handle business. We paid the high bill without any arguement and he will never see us again but just so he knows he was dealing with an attorney at our table and he did advice me to show him the video to advise us of...

I would have given 0 Stars if I could have but I had to write them at least one star they were unorganized and unprofessional I came there to celebrate my birthday but they created more and more charges for everybody at our table that we didn't even order this is not the first time we came here one other time for another birthday we thought we give it another shot but they did the same thing to us the first time.Only this time they locked us in the building saying we didn't pay our Tab when our waiter know we did. They could have just talked to us about it but they didnt. And they made up charges for things not ordered. l I'm very upset for my experience for the second time I thought things had changed it's very unfortunate that they have such a nice place with good music but they turn it into crap by having horrible horrible owners and managers I've never been treated the way I was treated that night and I was celebrating my birthday they need to learn how to give a receipt after everything that someone buys because they don't know how to keep track of s* and they make up charges that nobody bought and they're Rude and unprofessional and I would not recommend this place to anybody that's looking to have...
