Visited on Veterans day with my wife for dinner. Manger met us at the door and was very welcoming, thanked me for my service and seated us. Wasn't that impressed with choices on free meal menu but it's free so I get it. Decided on chicken bacon ranch quesadillas and my wife got a steak. It took a while to get to the point of ordering food. We ordered a tea and margarita for drinks and waited quite a while before waitress brought us a couple waters while I assumed our drinks were being made although not sure why a glass of tea took so long. After the waters were dropped off and waitress disappeared for a while she came by and got the food order but still no drinks. Then waitress disappeared again for quite a while. She shows up with the food but still no drinks. At this point we had been there half an hour. We said something about our drinks and she apologized and went to get our forgotten drinks. Looking at the food I was not impressed, steak looked fine but my quesadilla looked off, hard to explain but just didn't look appetizing. Took a bite and was not impressed. First thought was how do you "F"up a quesadilla? Well, puree the chicken and soak the tortillas in grease is how and don't forget to serve luke warm. It also appeared they sat all the vets in the same section to be ignored by wait staff. It was not that busy yet waitress seemed to be bothered to actually wait on us. All in all a disappointing visit and changed my mind how businesses actually feel about vets. You want to publicize how you do for vets on Veterans day yet when taken up on the offer I'm treated like a 2nd class customer. I'm not asking to have my butt kissed or bent over backwards for, just treat us like any other customer. I will say management did seem sincere in welcoming Vets and thanking us for our service but it stopped there. Waitress and cook didn't seem to get the memo. I had a free lunch at Grub burger bar that day and the experience was night and day with stellar service and food. Read moreTo go service is DISMAL. I eat at this location fairly regularly and while the speed of the service isnt the fastest, we usually have a fairly good experience.
Yesterday was my second time ordering to go from this location. The first time the order was correct but it took FOREVER for the lady to get it ready. There were a lot of ppl waiting and the poor girl was frazzled. Management would do good by providing her w help during the busy times.
But yesterday was a whole other story. It was not a busy time, (I learned my lesson) and my order was simple: a bowl of soup and a chocolate molten lava cake. Both of them I had order before. Well, the soup was cold. Like not even lukewarm. Cold. The order was picked up 6 minutes after placing it since we were on our way so its not like it stayed there hours. But that wasnt a problem. What made me really upset was that the cake came without the warm chocolate syrup (aka lava) that they usually send in a cup and the cup of ice cream that is supposed to accompany it was more like 1/2 cup. This costs $9 so the least you expect is for it to be done right.
The worse part was that when I called the restaurant to notify them so that they would pay more attention to their orders, the woman GIGGLED and said I could just drive back to get the little cup of sauce.
I wasnt sure if she was serious or just making fun of me so I just hung up. The fact that they cant even be professional is what made me really upset.

Hostess sat us (party of 6) right away. After 10 min with no waiter and 2 other tables sat after us who already had drinks I went back to the hostess and asked about our waiter. 2 min later waitress came up and apologized saying she thought someone else had us. Fair enough, figured it wasn't her fault and now she knows we're here so expect it to be fine. (Spoiler, it wasn't)
We order drinks and appetizers...drinks come and appetizer was brought by other people. It was messed up and our waitress never came back to refill drinks so we could get app fixed. Eventually I took my cups to bar to get refilled. Then waitress came back and deflected "i was right over there". Finally fixed appetizer and drink refills. Food came (other people again), 1 of the meals was wrong and after 5 min with no waitress he just ate the messed up meal. We were finally offered refills when we were leaving.
Note: the waitress only had 2 other tables (her words and we saw her working these 2 tables) but she spent the entire time cleaning floors or tables and whenever one of us tried to flag her down she averted her eyes and ran off immediately!...Every single time! Even though both the hostess & bartender were aware of these issues (and everyone else who saw me taking empty cups to bar for refill) no mgr ever appeared.
