Donuts Inc — Restaurant in Richardson

EDIT: Lately I have been wanting to go back here but they never have all their stock out or even ready these days. I get to cheat on my Type II Diabetes Diet, and I wanted THIS place to be that cheat. But their donuts are never all ready like before. Yes, I get there after 5AM, but they used to be so on point and everything was out or on the racks ready to go. Here lately, not so much. A real let down, given they had (have?) some of the softest and freshest texture and taste in the area; best I have had in years. But, as with all things I feel they are declining like most other places.

OLD REVIEW I hate cinnamon rolls, I do not find anything appealing about them, well, until now, LMAO. Donuts Inc makes amazing cinnamon rolls. I have never tasted one that had a really good flavor with a nice balance of cinnamon sugar and the roll. I’m giving donuts Inc. five stars based on the very fact that they have changed my mind about cinnamon rolls.

I also got a butter milk chocolate which was pretty decent a little dry but still flavorful and their donut holes are about twice the size of anyone I else’s. That being said they are not as fluffy as a competitor, but they are still pretty decent.

No longer do they have good prices nor do they have decent Donuts. We showed up there to get donuts for our church and for our family. We discovered that not only have they raised their prices but they have cut their donut size by at least a third. The children laughed and the people at church were disappointed. Since our church is in our neighborhood so many people asked what donut shop it was so they wouldn't make the mistake of going there. Also the donuts that we got were over fried and we're not soft and fluffy like they had been before. Unfortunately we've had to find another donut shop to go to. We have lived in our house for 30 years and for as long as I remember we've gotten Donuts from this shop. Too bad that the economy has gotten so bad you can't get a decent donut. Unfortunately I can remember when Donuts were $0.10 a piece. If you get your Donuts here then you might want to start looking for a new donut shop. I did receive multiple recommendations from people on next door for donuts that are regular sized and reasonably priced. We are now going through them one by one and since we have the grandchildren with us for the summer they are enjoying picking our new donut shop. I will post Tony find...

Wonderful, clean donut shop and outstanding service! I have been going here since I was a kid, they never disappoint. I’ve placed a few large orders here for my events for work and I’ve never had a bad experience. Orders always on time, even when I go in earlier than expected. Whenever I have a large order I just let them know and they always happily accommodate me. They are very giving and genuine small business owners. I’m sorry but Dunkin’ Donuts has nothing on them! Their sausage rolls are amazing, their cinnamon rolls… YUUMMM! Look, my seniors absolutely love this place and my whole family goes here for donuts and kolaches.
