After several visits to this bar I decided to finally review it. This is not a bar for people of color or where everyone will feel comfortable. The white male with red hair, beard, and blue eyes that is a bartender is the most uncomfortable to be around. He does this uncomfortable laugh when you speak to him, It’s very strange. Not everyone at this bar conducts themselves this way, but there are two bartenders that do, who seem to work often. I figured if I come again, interactions may change but those same strange behaviors continued. There are always children as small as infants in this bar which makes it harder to enjoy so I guess the neighborhood part is pretty serious if you enjoy that atmosphere. I most defiantly will never return to this establishment after my latest visit. They do not respect customers that have been loyal and never had previous issues. It’s worst than it use to be which may be because the staff work and play (drink/get trashed) at the same bar even if they...

There's something going on every day. My favorites: $1 Wing Wednesdays $12 pizza on Friday Karaoke on Saturday
The food is really good. So far I've had: Wings: I've tried Hot, Garlic Parmesan, Sweet Thai Chili, Honey Maple Bourbon, and Lemon Pepper. All were solid but Hot would be my preference. Sloppy Joe: Surprisingly good. Texas Patty Melt: Good but so far I'd rate the Sloppy Joe above it. Pizza: Pepperoni and Protein Pie (meat lovers). Fantastic. Soft, deep-dish dough loaded with cheese, and you can’t beat a large $12 pizza on Friday. Fries and Nacho Cheese Fries: Easily in my Dallas top two fries. They're large and I’m pretty sure twice-fried. Pretzel: Ridiculously good, super soft.
Atmosphere: Plenty of regulars. Covered, dog-friendly patio. Everyone's chill. I haven't seen any issue (though I'm usually gone before it gets too late).

Read moreI had a great experience at Madhatter in Richardson! The food was absolutely delicious—everything came out hot, fresh, and surprisingly fast. I ordered the Philly cheesesteak and a pretzel, and both were super tasty and satisfying.
Our server Shay (I believe that was her name—she had really cool black and white hair!) was amazing. Super attentive and friendly. After her shift ended, another server took over—Kenna—and she was just as awesome. Both made us feel well taken care of, and I’d be happy to have either of them as our server again.
The only hiccup was with the happy hour specials. According to the website, the Philly cheesesteak was part of the daily special, but I was charged full price. When I asked about it, I was told the website is outdated by about three months. That was a bit disappointing and misleading, so I’d love to see more clarity or updated info online.
That said, I’ll definitely be back. Great vibes, great food, and...
