Worst experience ever! Let me start by saying that they have a sign in the door that says "check our prices first on the menu we don't want you to complain" who does that? That was just like a red flag for me. The restaurant was completely empty. Me and my family got there for dinner and the food is not good. Ordered chicken nuggets for my kids and omg the were horrible! At the end we were charge a tip which I don't even understand why? The were no server/waitress no one came to our table to check on how was everything? On top of that you have to pay at the front counter and they have a sign saying that all waitresses get by tips only and they have a huge jar that says "tips". So they asked for the tip at the front counter and they also charge you in the check. By the way they will not provide an itemized receipt for your meal. Food is way over priced, service is not good and they also cheat the customers with the way they do ask for...

Food used to be better. Service has always been poor to bad, but the food kind of made up for it. My husband ordered tripa tacos they were soggy and tasted old he couldn't eat 1. I ordered a hurache have had it before the hurache was sooooo thin it was like a thin tortilla. The carnitas also tasted old. The price went up, but quality and service is worse. You order at the counter, when you walk in they expect you to know this and just stare at you. The lady that took our order was very short and unpleasant with us like we were bothering her. When I asked for a coke she said we don't have coke, and I asked what else she had she huffed literally huffed, then said there's mexican coke if you want. They package everything in to go bags, they call your name to get your oder from the counter even if you eat there. Then you bus your own table afterwards. The only reason I can think of for a 3.5 rating is that they don't pay sponsorship fees. This taqueria is authentic and high quality. Tortillas scratch made and grilled. Perfect masa to lard ratio and cooked perfectly. Quesadillas and Huerasches large enough to share. Ingredients are always fresh and generous. Cash only and served to-go even if dining in which might not be an Anglo preference but I admire their good business sense. Dishes are so generous, you'll need a to-go box anyway. Two shared pollo quesadilla $10, bistec tacos $3.25 each, and side of frijoles (nest in town). Tacos not your typical street taco.
