TJ's Dawg House — Restaurant in Richardson

Everyone loves a good sandwich! When it comes to this subject, with the vast outlets of satisfaction out there to choose from, not only are the choices numbered by the millions, so many different ways to make these tasty blessings in life are available.

Until my first visit to TJ's Dawg House, I had never visited a food truck. Ever. Don't ask me why, it simply never had happened yet. On a beautiful sunny Sunday about a month ago, I ventured out to the Lowe's Home Improvement parking lot off of Plano/Beltline in Richardson. Reviews of this establishment are stellar, in all aspects, so even though I tried not to expect anything, being my first time, I somehow had a feeling that I was about to find a treasure in the world of superior food.

That moment on that day, on the trunk of my car, I ate two of the best sandwiches I have ever had in years, and in my entire life as a whole.

I am not kidding. Seriously.

I had to partake in more than just one sandwich....just because that is what needed to happen........

First one was the Philly Cheese, masterfully perfected on the grill, with amazing sauteed onions, delicious cheese that literally was a flood over the entire object, and meat that was flavorful beyond belief.

The second sandwich was his infamous Italian Roast Beef. Tender beef, bathed in juice that created intense gusto, sauteed onions, and Giardiniera that packed a beautiful punch of heat and enriching flavor.

The bread on both sandwiches was pure heaven. Amazingly soft and literally melting with every bite.

Food is a blessing in life, and to have such an establishment as TJ's Dawg House at our service is truly something we should partake in and support when we are searching for those sandwiches of perfection.

T.J. truly loves what he does, and like all true chefs of culinary bliss, the evidence shows! He truly is a master at his craft!!! He is a genuine soul, his customer service is stellar, and his hard work truly pays off with the quality of food he provides to his customers. These sandwiches are the real deal!!

He keeps updates on Facebook on his active days, and not only is he at Lowes for the first half of the day, he finishes the second half of the day at Four Bullets Brewery in Richardson down the street.

Run by and devour some of the best sandwiches and hot dogs you will ever have!

Wow!!! TJ Dawg House best around Texas. I’m a Chicago Native, I live in Mckinney Texas. My daughter and I drove 30 minutes for the Italian Beef dipped with Giardiniera peppers, sweet peppers and sauté onions. When I tell you I’ve been looking for a good Chicago Style Italian Beef and ran across TJ Dawg House and the reviews were off the chain not only the food is delicious but TJ is an awesome guy. I also like how he was constantly wiping the counter down after each customer. Very clean and welcoming atmosphere. Best food truck I ever been to.

I love TJ’s personality he is a people person. Knows how to keep you coming back for more. The food is soooooo!!! delicious and filling. My daughter and I will definitely be back. We both had the Italian Beef and we were not disappointed at all. I had flashbacks of Chicago Italian Beefs and Portillos don’t have nothing on TJ Dawg House. Wow so delicious, melts in your mouth and his prices are very reasonable and the Italian Beef was loaded with beef and all the trimmings.

I don't often consume hot dogs, but I've passed by him literally the last decade, and today I was like, WTHeck! YOLO, right?! 🤷🏽‍♀️ Lol! I got The West Virginia Slaw Dog. Surprisingly, I ate the whole thing!!! It was very flavorful and delish. I tried some of that "forest green relish" and it was also yummy! His food truck is very unique and kept clean!!!! I sat in the parking lot to eat, and once the customers left, he came out to sanitize all stations and touch points! Gave this germaphobe chills! 🥰 Phenomenal customer service & decent prices!!!! He's located in the Lowe's parking lot in Richardson. ● ● Update 2-yrs later :: Still the same phenomenal customer service. Still the same delicious food. Still the same location. Still the same clean food truck!! Btw... although I enjoy Portillo's... his Italian Beef is wayyyyy...
