Jimmy John's — Restaurant in Richfield

I placed a catering order a week and a half in advance. When I got to the store after the original pickup time they gave me part of our ordering saying it was our complete order. Then they said come back in an hour, stating the reason they could not complete the order was because they ran out of bread. I came back an hour later and it was still not done. I tried to talk to the staff, including the night manager, and they just ignored me and if they didn’t ignore me they didn’t have any good answers as to why it was taking so long. When they gave me part of our order the sandwiches presentation was sloppy and fully wrapped without any indication of what kind of sandwiches they were. I finally got so frustrated with the lack of communication we had them refund the order (I have not checked my credit card to see if that actually happened yet) and kept the sloppy sandwiches that were provided. This was for a 6 year old’s birthday party the next morning so we had to quick pivot and order Davanni’s sandwiches. I think the employees here leave their brains at home. I came in during a non busy time. There was ONE person ahead of me. He ordered a large tuna sandwich. I ordered hunters club with no cheese. Somehow this caused a massive backup and it took us both ten to fifteen minutes to get our food. Both orders were messed up. To be clear I was not with the guy ahead of me but I could see that his order was messed up because they did not give him a large sandwich. They also messed up my order and left the cheese on mine despite me saying more than once no cheese.

Not the first time I've had issues with this restaurant - another time a few months ago my family ordered four sandwiches for delivery (we live just a few minutes away but we were busy with projects around the house) and nearly forty five minutes went by and no delivery. My partner went to the store to find out no one had even made our sandwiches yet. He had to pick them up and bring them.

The thing I find MOST Interesting about "Review Sites" such as THIS ONE. IS Only The Angry, PI$$ed Off, Entitled RUDE Customers seem to be the ones who ever post and always the most. They Should NOT BE Allowed to Post Anything EVER .... much less on site like this. Where are all the Thousands upon Thousands of Satisfied Customers, who take a place like this for granted, I Ask YOU ? I Read each and every one of these reviews, and all I could do is laugh. As I have eaten there myself, many times, I personally did NOT encounter the Negativity that is posted, most of which "They lost a Customer, because I am TOO LAZY to to go get my Fast Food" This is a fine place and their Employees work very hard to get you Lazy bums a Sandwich ... never mind the fact "Those People" could never do that type of hard work, as criticizing everything from behind a keyboard is easy, just read their Comical offerings ....
