Eat'n Park — Restaurant in Richland Township

My husband and I went last month on a date night, & everything was wonderful. Great service, great waitress, great salad bar, great food.

We decided to go their for dinner this evening with our son. The host was sort of friendly. Our waitress, was really impatient with us while we were trying to decide what we wanted to eat. Kept coming over every two minutes to see if we were ready to order, even though she clearly saw us looking at the menus.

When she brought us our waters, there were brown particles floating in my husband's water. So when I politely asked our waitress to replace his water and also to get my son a water, she made it seem like such an inconvenience and did not remove my husband's tainted water or apologize for that matter.

When we were ready to order, and I started ordering mine and my sons food and instead of letting me finish, she interrupted me on several occassions.

My son also wanted Mandarin oranges as an extra side, so it was an extra .99 cents which wasn't a big deal until our waitress came out and said that she couldn't find them and I said, no big deal they are on the salad bar (which I paid for, so my son who is 5 would eat for free off of it along with his meal), so just take them off his order. She still charged us for them.

Worst waitress ever.

The salad bar was not very well kept. Several of the salad plates were still dirty, along with the soup bowls and when set aside and the staff was told about it they just put them back on to the piles.

The bathrooms were not well managed either.

Overall, my family will never step foot in this...

We were there on Easter Sunday and didn't know they were closing at 3pm. Hostess was nice. Got seated and waitress came took drink order. While looking over menu you could hear one waitress talking loud back in kitchen about how her last table came an hour before they close and they are jus sitting there talking and my 4yr old daughter asked why was someone yelling back there. So just say that's why atmosphere got 1 star wish there was a negative star area. Then waitress brought our drinks back and took our order. Brought out my salad and the fruit cup for my daughter. The salad looked jus thrown together there were so many croutons and barely any vegetables. Then our food came kids food looked ok then our burgers came and I got a bacon cheeseburger and the bun looked mismatched the bottom was barely a bun and kept sliding making the burger messy and jus decided to take it and my fries home. My daughter also took her food home she had chicken tenders and broccoli. Waitress didn't ask if we wanted dessert or anything jus left the check we payed the check and left. Well that evening my daughter wanted her food so heated it up for her. She gave me some of her broccoli. Well next day me and her both were sick throwing up and diarrhea and all we were throwing up was the broccoli so guess the broccoli was not good and was still served. Sorry it's late writing this review but my son lost my phone and had to wait to get paid to get a new one. but had tried to reach the restaurant and couldn't talk to a manager then tried corporate and was on hold. We are from out of town so we decided to try this restaurant in Johnstown, PA. (Minno drive location) for dinner.

This was our first experience so I got the salad bar which was good but they had forgotten to put my wife's dinner order in so she didn't get her chicken dinner and she didn't feel like waiting so we left.

2nd visit (Scalp Ave location) was for lunch as we were going to try their salad bar again and most everything needed replacing. Lettuce was brown, cucumbers were slimy, broccoli was browning, etc. I notified the waitress and when she told the lady in back, my wife overheard the response our waitress got and it was, "YOU CAN TELL HIM TO GO TO HELL".

We went back to the Minno location for Sunday breakfast and gave it one last try and it was just ok. All in all the servers were friendly minus the one lady in the back that told me to go to hell. The soups are good but the food is like a bad version of Dennys. I think they would have potential if they changed how it was run.

Sorry Eat'nPark but you came up way short for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. I would put you at the bottom of the food chain restaurants like Shari's, Denny's, Bob Evans, Cracker Barrel, Golden...
