After what can only be described as one of the most emotionally and mentally exhausting days of my life, I decided that my family would dine on burgers for supper. Little did I know how much my last minute decision for fast food, along with this particular restaurant, was needed.
From the moment Russel Hurst welcomed me to the restaurant through the drive-thru speaker, his positive energy and genuine care of MY experience there was practically tangible. I smiled literally for the first time all day, and was so appreciative of such positivity and happiness that I teared up. I was so taken aback by my reaction that I took longer to gather my thoughts and order, and naturally nearly all items included in my order required modifications, and I just continued to apologize for my inability to order quickly and accurately, and again, Russel made me feel like I was the only customer he had to take care of, and there were three cars ahead of me. I never felt rushed, I never felt silly for turning a fast food order into a semi-therapy session, I felt nothing but the happiness in my heart that radiates from his professionalism, precision, genuine care, and overall niceness. I have never driven away from a drive through window with so much happiness in my heart and such a huge smile on my face, and not to mention the AMAZING FAMILH DEAL I got, and the DELICIOUS, PERFECTLY PREPARED burgers (modifications included) that my family and I enjoyed for supper.
Russel is a gem, this store has amazing customer service over all, and I am grateful for them all. Also, as a lifelong resident of Richmond Hill, and niece of Mayor Carpenter, my standards are pretty high. Definitely met and exceeded tonight. They charged me for cheese on those burgers, but only the double cheeseburger had cheese. How you gonna mess up 3 burgers and still charge for cheese? There was literally 1 jalapeno on my sandwich. Y'all being stingy with jalapenos now too? It ain't coming out of your check! Also the cashier was not friendly and not pleasant, I wouldn't say she had an attitude but it definitely felt like she was mad she had to work. Drink machine is messed up too, that was the nastiest most watered down Coke I've ever had, that syrup needs to be refilled. Fries were alright, although they put my wife's fries upside down in her bag so they were spilled out all over the place. Every other time I've been here to RH BK, the service was great and everyone was super friendly, orders were all correct and the food was hot and good. Whatever crew was working in there tonight needs to get their act together, they clearly didn't want to be there. Poor food, not getting what I was charged for and poor attitudes equals a CHARGE BACK for me because I did not get what I paid for. I will go to Hinesville BK from now on, they actually make good food and give good service. RH BK is going downhill fast if this is the kind of crew they hire in there, y'all gonna sink down to Midway BK's level...
