Make sure you cross out the tip line or they'll overcharge you. Placed a pickup order on 9/7, looked at my bank statement a few days later an noticed they'd added $6 onto my $11 order. Went in on 9/13 with receipt in hand to ask about it, and the woman who rang me up on my initial visit was there (she claimed to be the manager). She acted confused and said she didn't know how it happened. She looked over the receipts on her end and said she caught what it was, but didn't show me the receipt to see if she wrote in her own tip. She called her manager and asked how to proceed, saying that she must've typed in the order number and number the amount when she was ringing me up. From what I gathered hearing her side of the conversation, it seemed that her boss told her that what she claimed wasn't possible if the amount was correct on my receipt, and that she must've added in her own tip. After the call, she angrily dug money out of the tip jar and register and aggressively thrusted it at me- no apology, explanation, or anything. I took it and left. Will not be doing business with these dishonest people ever again.

ETA: Woman who I dealt with just called my personal cell phone five times in a row and sent me pictures to try and explain herself and apologize. Would've been nice to hear that at the time rather than be interrupted at work. Very unprofessional to call a customer's personal number for this. Unbelievable.

Edit 2: I texted back that I thought it was inappropriate to call my phone number, and they've clearly read my review so they knew I was at work, but they chose to call me...

We ordered sushi for takeout. The sushi was good but not worth the price for the size of it and time it took to get it. Placed the order at 6:06pm over the phone and was told it would be 20 mins. When I arrived to pick it up it wasn’t ready and had to wait till 7:20 before it was finally ready. It was a Thursday night and it wasn’t even busy, they had two tables, one of which was just placing their order with their server and there was 3 front of house staff for 2 tables. Also, each roll was over $15 and they were very small. I liked the rolls but felt that the price was too high for the size of them. Edit: In response to the owner, there is no good excuse for how long our order took. Look at the time frame I referenced, from the time I placed the order to pick up it was over an hour and on the phone your employee told me 20 mins. If it was going to take longer than that then it should have be explained. I’ve worked in the restaurant industry. I know how busy takeout can get, give realistic wait times so the customer can plan accordingly. We weren’t from the area and we were traveling to NC so yes it really did put us at an inconvenience. Also, you should consider reviewing the online menu and it’s prices that are listed on there. We also tipped and I’m not even sure what for at this point. I’m pretty sure what happened is your employee forgot to put our order in after the call and didn’t do so until we got there. Mistakes happen but there’s a right way of handling them that could’ve saved us this inconvenience and maybe brought us back in...

Very displeased. I called to ordered takeout and was told 30 mins. I showed up on time and was assured it would just be a few more minutes. They added that all entrees were ready but they were waiting on sushi. 45 minutes later, the lady brings me my order. I proceeded to ask for a refund and explained that I had been waiting for 45 minutes past the expected wait time and that my entrees had been sitting there for the entire time and were likely cold. She got approval for the refund ($80) but told me I should’ve told her sooner. I explained again that I was there an extra 45 minutes past the expected wait time and she said it would only be a few more minutes. Im new to the area, and this was a horrible first impression. I would’ve likely tried this location another time until they disregarded their fault in fulfilling the order within reasonable time and in turn pointed blame at me for not notifying them of my want to cancel the order sooner. As I was walking out of the location I could hear the lady proceeded to complain to the other workers that I was wrong for not telling them sooner. Wouldn’t recommend this...

You know when you go somewhere and you tell the person in the business that you’re in a hurry and what can I do to make sure that this doesn’t take too long. As we traveled through town, we spotted Fuji Japanese restaurant walked in and spoke to the hostess, she was quite pleasant and assured us that it didn’t seem busy. Once seated, we had the pleasure of working with Samantha. She had her that we were in a bit of a hurry, we felt heard that help us to take a breath take a breather and just relax. We had some questions about the menu for Samantha and she thoughtfully responded remembering that we are on a timeline. The place was clean. The restrooms were sparkling and the menus were specially new and not sticky. Our food tasted authentic, and overall it was a gold nugget of a find! Read your reviews because this one was right on!! Thank you, Samantha for helping us get to our appointment on time! You made our dining experience very pleasant.

Let’s ignore the fact that it took 45 minutes to get our appetizer or that the waitresses completely forgot about us. Let’s just talk about the food..... if you’re just getting sushi you may be alright. However, if you want anything in addition to that be prepared. From the gray fried rice and spaghetti noodle “ lo mein”....... to the “vegetable” Hibachi that was just onions and cabbage with a piece or two of zucchini; the food left my wife and I with a discussed feeling for allowing ourselves to eat here. I am honestly disappointed in Richmond Hill’s rating of the restaurant and will take local ratings with a grain of salt from now on.
