Nasso Donuts — Restaurant in Richmond Hill

I am on the road all of the time transporting rescue animals. I always look up local donut shops. I decided to stop at nasso. First off they will custom fill your donuts and bars (not the ring donuts) they have four or five fillings. I bought a choc bavarian cream bar, two jelly filled and three sprinkles. I consider myself a donut connoisseur lol. I don’t need super fancy crazy concoctions, just a really good donut. I ate the choc bav bar asap. The chocolate icing was the kind that crackles a little when it cools. The actual pastry part was soft in the middle but the edges had just enough bite that you only get with homemade fresh donuts. You know the way things used to be made. The cream was perfect, just the right amount and not sickening sweet. I will confess about three hours later i after the multi colored sprinkle ring donut. Again perfect amount of sweetness. I brought the others home and my hubs ate the lemon filled one. He wants a vat of the slightly tart lemon filling.

The best donuts i have had in 30 years!!! If i didn’t live 8 hours away from here i would be 600#! Stop by! Also the staff is super friendly and helpful. Hey nasso want to open a shop...

We were driving back to Charlotte from Florida and stayed overnight in a hotel nearby. My husband looked up places for breakfast and found Nasso Donut. We joked that it would probably be an amazing donut place since we were only passing through. Sure enough, we were right! The shop itself is adorably charming and the staff were very friendly. The donuts were delicious! I chose a donut filled with raspberry jelly. Their filled donuts are empty and they freshly fill them with your choice of one of 3 fillings when you order. My husband and son loved their donuts as well! We have a few donut shops in Charlotte, but I don't love any of them. One comes close to Nasso in donut quality, but completely lacks in atmosphere and friendliness. Nasso Donut has it all and is a very "well-rounded" donut shop! We will definitely stop by on...

We went here on a few Saturdays ago even this saturday, getting some donuts. It was a small donut shop but great baked goods! Wonderful pastries, filled with options of lemon/raspberry/bavarian cream/etc. They don't skip out on those unlike some places/chainstores.. 👀 The staff were busy and hard working getting those people who were waiting in the store and making donuts in the back! I get when some people feel sad not being able to get a mochi donut, but it's more like first come first serve! Maybe next time 🥰 Even the regular frosted donuts are delicious, it was soft, fluffy, and chewy. The mochi donuts are chewy but also can be pulled apart and shareable with family and friends alike!
