Found this place years ago and I must say I love the food. Always a fair portion. You will never leave hungry unless you did not eat. The Curry Chicken is a must try. It just melts in your mouth. The owner is awesome. When my daughter was little and I took her there for the first time she wanted chicken fingers and mac & cheese. They did have mac and cheese but he made her some. She loved the chicken fingers and the mac & cheese. I just wish I still worked in that area again but I truly miss not being there at least...

Friendly chef operated restaurant. Second Carribean food experience in Richmond. Jerk chicken a smash hit with the whole family. Curry chicken mild taste for Indian fiery taste. Roti skin with stuffed pea powder very soft - reminds me of Tamil sweet boli. Coco bread and sweet pan fried plantains well loved by kids. We were very hungry. NBC12 On Your Side awarded this restaurant its highest recognition for cleanliness, customer service and overall excellence. The co-owner of restaurant (wife) recently passed away. In interview, the surviving owner (widower) was visibly emotional remembering his wife and also honored to have their restaurant recognized again.
