They will try to rip you off! Don't give them cash and demand a receipt. Came across this small business today at Hanover Vegetable Farm. Ordered 3 tacos for $13 and asked if they could break a 50. The kid taking orders went to the grill to ask the owner. He said they could but if we are paying cash, the cost is $14. He came back and we had three 5s. He took the cash and handed us a $1 which went into the tip bucket. He mumbled something about needing a sign that says no cash. Waited 20 minutes, no tacos. We asked where they were after others behind us were getting their orders. The kid that took our order stood there while we argued with the owner acting like he didn't just have a conversation with us while we waited. The owner claimed he didn't get a ticket for an order then after raising his hand and coming at us, said he'd make the tacos. Requested a refund and he wanted to argue about how much we were charged. Incompetent or...
Read moreThey made an appearance at the Hardywood taco festival and I believe they bit off way more than they could chew. Took over an hour to get our tacos once they were ordered, tacos were very much sloppy and they got my order wrong...they were out of some ingredients as well. Workers were getting angry that customers were angry, but rightfully so considering it was taking over an hour to get their orders. They were also completely scrambling and did not have a good work flow. I had about 7 people who had ordered after me get their tacos before me because a cook had decided to stop cooking...I believe their product has potential, but they need to work on professionalism and efficiency...and knowing your limits...tacos were not worth the...
Read moreThey were at the Hardywood taco festival. It took an hour to place our order. We were told we would have a 45 minute wait, we said okay. We waited for 1hour 20mins, still no food. We left without our food or getting a refund because refunds were not allowed!?! So basically they took $40 from us. I suggest to the owner, next time DO NOT have your workers making tacos to order, one at a time, when having a demand of orders like there were at the festival. Have both guys making all the different varieties of tacos and have another person picking up and filling the orders with each taco specified per order. It would have reduced...
