I saw the low ratings but the location was convenient for a quick date while I was passing through town. First I asked for the “beyond meat” sausage without egg. The cashier was helpful and tried to ring me up, charging less. A person who I presume was the manager couldn’t understand what she was trying to do no matter how much she explained. Luckily she figured it out. When I got my sandwich... it still had egg on it. I took it to manager and she acted like she couldn’t remember that I asked for no egg. Not even ten minutes had passed and there weren’t that many customers. She was also confused about what half a dozen donuts meant. When I ordered them along with my sandwich, I said half a dozen twice. She said to me 24? I finally gave up and said 6. After having a decent little date I went to use the bathroom before getting back on the road. It was locked. I asked for the key. They said it was out of order. I said fine I’ll use the men’s room. She said someone took the key and it was locked. I said “you mean to tell me you guys can’t even use the bathroom”. She looked like I caught her in a lie but she would not allow me to use it...a paying customer. I had a 3 hour drive and a lot of water (which had something floating in the first cup). I was about to burst. I really believe they were just too lazy to clean the bathrooms even though that’s apart of their job. I only give one star because I’m...
Read moreI had one of the most unprofessional experiences of my life at this Dunkin’ Donuts. When I arrived, a manager was outside berating an employee right by the front door. Inside, there may have been three staff members on shift, but only one person was actually doing the work. The manager and another employee came inside but continued their argument rather than helping with customers. The oven timer started going off, and despite the first employee asking for someone to turn it off, neither the manager nor the other worker responded. I even repeated her request, but the manager just said, 'okay, one minute.' Finally, the overworked employee had to stop helping me to handle it herself. Once the manager stopped the berating, the second worker started complaining to the first employee right in front of me. I just wanted donuts, not drama! The lone employee handling everything deserves a raise and a promotion. The lack of professionalism from the manager and second employee was disappointing and left me vowing to...
Read moreIm not sure why this place is being run this way when it's so close to a university. There was no one behind the counter for five minutes after we came, although there was a lady in a uniform at one of the tables. The screens for the coffee menu are not working, and when we asked for a menu they said "ah yeah, the screen's not working, we have coffee here (like duh, I know you have coffee, but give me a menu), what size do you want, yes we have lattes, yes we have macchiatos" which honestly wasn't very helpful. In the end we ordered hot chocolate and a latte - the hot chocolate wasn't sweet at all, latte was lukewarm and had no sugar, and when we asked for sugar packets, the lady in the uniform was pretty rude by any standards. No concept of customer service, no convenient parking (you have to park on a shady street) and not clean. The register counter was sticky and gross and the tables weren't clean. I will say the donuts we had were good enough so two...
