🌟🌟🌟🌟 "CAVA: Spicy Chicken Avocado... Maybe Not for Me, But Still a Win!"

So, I decided to step out of my comfort zone and try the Spicy Chicken Avocado at CAVA. Why did I do that? 🙄 Let's just say I quickly remembered that I'm not a savory-spicy kind of guy. It was a bit much for my taste buds, which prefer to keep things a little milder. But hey, that’s on me, not them!

Now, let’s talk about the Feta cheese. It seems like CAVA has a thing for feta, sprinkling it on just about everything. And while I’m not the biggest feta fan out there, I can appreciate that it’s their signature style—so I’m rolling with it!

Despite my bias palette, I still have to give CAVA 4 stars. Why? Because even though my choice wasn’t a hit for me personally, I could tell that the ingredients were fresh, the flavors were bold, and everything was put together with care. Plus, the overall vibe of the place is cool, modern, and just the right amount of casual.

So, if you’re into bold flavors and don’t mind a little (or a lot) of feta, CAVA might just be your new favorite spot. And hey, even if your taste buds are as picky as mine, there’s enough variety on the menu that you’re bound to find something you’ll love. This is not the first time I’ve had a bad experience at this location, but at this point I’m starting to notice a pattern. I frequent this location because of how close it is to where I live, but after my last experience I was absolutely disgusted. Every time I come here I have to ask for a little extra of something and don’t get me wrong I don’t mind paying extra for meat, but when it comes to rice and sauce I mean come on. For a little extra rice it is 1.45 and who knows how much it is for sauce. They will give you plenty of one item like the tomatoes and cucumbers, but when you ask for more olives you would think it’s coming out of their paycheck. Mind you, it’s only the palm colored people who act like this towards people of the opposite color. It’s disgusting. I never imagined that because of my race, I would experience this (especially at a food establishment). Needs new management and revaluation of morals. I go to the Willow Lawn location and never have to ask for extra anything and it’s predominately black establishment that’s the only difference,...

Can’t wait for VCU to begin spring semester, because the temp. workers filling in over winter break are absolutely terrible! Line has at least 6-7 people in it and initial greater is re-stocking proteins (when they’re nearly all full) instead of greeting customers and getting things moving. Next, my wife asked for a side of Garlic dressing, but the pour was lite, so she asked for a little more. The worker seeming annoyed, then super-soaked her bowl with the requested Lemon-herb Tahini almost as a payback for asking for additional Garlic sauce in the side cup. It was so much sauce she could barely eat half her bowl. These may seem like small issues, but with so many quality options in the area (Chipotle & Panera literally next door), I’m happy to take my money elsewhere. Get it together Cava, get...
